Wow! I especially like the use of the inks with the acetate sheets. Beautiful!
Beautiful backgrounds. Love the look alcohol inks give. Thanks for sharing. Always learn something new watching your videos.
What a cool technique! Thanks Jennifer for showing it to us and Tim for letting yoy. It's awesome!❤❤❤
Gorgeous cards! Thanks so much for sharing all of your tips and tricks with us...Love this technique! Have a great weekend, Jennifer!
Jennifer, we so appreciate your boundless technique tutorials...you're the Master ! You inspire us.
You never stop to amaze me with your wonderful techniques...what great finishing for the background of those cards....well done Jennifer and tfs
Jennifer, ONCE AGAIN......AMAZING! This was such a fun video to watch! As always, your color choices and “tips” are WONDERFUL, too. I, too, LOVE having the “alcohol inked paper/acetate” be the “STAR” of the card w/just simple sentiments. Thank you again for “inspiring” us! Have a great day n’ HAPPY STAMPIN’ n’ CREATIN’! :-))
A blast from the past. We forget to go back and use older techniques. Thanks bringing it back:)
Glad to see you have Tim on speed dial, lol! I can just imagine what you two could create if you came together for an entire day!! These ghosting techniques are amazing! Your backgrounds were beautiful, but then cutting and using them at an angle - brilliant! Your cards are magnificent - my favorite is the one done on acetate. Soooo pretty! Thank you.😍
Jennifer these are ALL simply STUNNING! I could not be MORE inspired! I cannot wait to give these a try. TFS!
Really lovely Jennifer. Thank you for the info for cleaning up the Misty. Deb x
Hi Jennifer, I love all your videos and in the past 18 months or so, since I started stamping, I have learned so many different techniques from you. Because I've not been stamping long I am still building up my supplies of inks etc and I quite often have to send for something before I can begin so imagine how thrilled I am because I actually have a good supply of alcohol inks AND Archival ink pads and I can start on this immediately! Please carry on the good work and thank you 💕
Love them all. You absolutely inspire us Jennifer.
You always inspire. Thanks for giving us such a wealth of knowledge!
Love, Love the alcohol inks! They make so many designs that never two is a like. Which is a great thing. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful weekend.
Another most enjoyable video. I am addicted to alcohol inks. I love watching the inks spread on yupo paper. I can't wait to have a go on the acetate sheets using the technique stamping with the mini Archival inks. Thanks Jennifer
Jennifer, I love everything you’ve done with alcohol inks. You have totally turned me onto them and I am in love. This would not have happened if it wasn’t for you and your creative techniques. It is why you are my number one UTube girl/website. I love techniques and yours are the most creative. Please please never stop sharing your art!!!
Amazing!!! I'm glad I watched your video tonight. Simply blown away by final results. I just need time to play with my yupo paper and alchoal ink. Can't wait to give this techniques a try.
Absolutely gorgeous!!! You never cease to amaze!!
WOW!!! Amazing technique! Your cards are beautiful! Thanks for always inspiring to try new techniques!!!
These are gorgeous! I can’t wait to try this technique. TFS!
Hi Jennifer! I LOVE your videos! I just watched your video on alcohol inks and ghost stamping. Since I didn’t have any archival ink, I tried Versamark instead. After stamping with Versamark, I applied just a little heat and then wiped it off. I got great results!
These cards turned out beautiful....love the technique.
These cards are stunning AND I already have everything I need to make some of my own???? Yay!
This is such a great technique, Jennifer. Being new to using alcohol inks, I'm glad you retrieved this older technique to share--so, tfs!
I love this technique. In fact, I tried it yesterday. On one that I've tried, the result was not too good but I didn't stamp twice with the archival ink. Now I will do it. And it's great to see the cards that you do with your backgrounds. Thanks for sharing.
Wow you are so creative Jennifer, love watching your videos!
What a super technique cannot wait to try it out. As a newby 69 year old, it is like Christmas every day for me plus saving loads of money from not buying store packed cards. It is so rewarding to see people enjoying my cards. tfs x
Oh my god, these are absolutely gorgeous! I love it, thanks for sharing Jennifer! xo Lisa
What a beautiful technique! I am going to try this for sure. Thank you for sharing.
Labor of love... BEAUTIFUL
Thank you, Jennifer. Beautiful cards. Love the technique. Just getting started with Alcohol inks and I am really enjoying them. Can't wait to try the ghosting :)
Beautiful Jennifer. Thank you
This is a beautiful technique....I can't believe how many things the paints are good for. Just fantastic. pat
Just got my Yupo paper and alcohol inks and I can't wait to start experimenting. This is a lovely technique. Thank you for your sharing your experience Jennifer.
Gorgeous ghost stamping. Very Impressive. Thanks.
What a fun technique! And lovely cards, too!
Beautiful technique. Your cards are stunning. TFS
These are beautiful!!
Such beautiful results! I missed this technique and the need for just Archival inks the first time around or more likely it has gone out of my memory banks. Thank you so very much for covering it again, appreciated so very much.
These cards, although relatively simple to create, have elegantly stunning results Jennifer. Each one is beautiful but I absolutely love the results on the acetate for that "How'd you do that?" kind of look. Simple sentiments on glitzy paper is the perfect touch. Thanks so much for sharing your boundless creativity with all of us. I'm always appreciative and amazed. I hope you're having an awesome weekend. ~HUGS~ #kindnessmatters
Love the technique! For alcohol ink clean up, I often use fingernail polish remover because it cleans much easier and more thorough; I also clean my cutting boards that way that occasionally gets some glue on it and it cleans so easily.
I just ordered these inks. Excited to play. As always thank you for sharing. These techniques is so interesting. Beautiful cards also.
Love all your fabulous techniques Jennifer! I have a small suggestion to prevent permanent staining on your Misti, or any other stamping tool. I also do this on my paper trimmer in case I get glue or ink on its platform. I cut and apply a sheet of repositionable, clear, transparent Con-Tact paper that I buy at Dollarama. It can be cleaned with alcohol swabs as well and if it eventually becomes badly stained, you just peel it off and apply a new sheet. It helps to keep your expensive crafting equipment looking like new!
Where is the 'LOVE' button? I need a LOVE button not just a LIKE button! Truly appreciate each and every one of your videos Jennifer! They inspire me, encourage me, teach me and make me happy :-)
So inspirational, and I love the idea of placing the background at an angle. Watching this, I wonder why I've avoided alcohol inks: I'm definitely going to try them out.
Second time watching this. Can’t wait to get started. Thanks.
Gorgeous backgrounds will have to give these a try. Will take a look at your other videos using this ink Thanks for sharing
They turned out beautiful
I love this technique! I just ordered 5 more alcohol ink colors and I do have 3 of the archival ink pads. I will definitely try it out. So pretty.
Love the technique. Stunning - thank you
I thought I knew all of Tim's techniques but I have never ever seen this one. Love that it works on acetate as I have that and alchohol inks but not Yupo yet. Thanks!
I love all these cards! I haven’t done paper crafting for some time and this makes me want to try alcohol inks!
Always so good, whatever you do.
Hi Jennifer, thanks for your video. This technique is very cool. 🙋♀️💕
Funtastical, can't wait to try this technique
This is really neat. Love the idea. Thank you for the inspiration.
Great technique! Love the cards!
Beautiful!
Beautiful! I use a dry magic eraser on my misty, no scrubbing. Stazon even comes off!
Thank you for sharing this technique. I will try it for sure.!!
This is so cool!!!
Great techniques...awesome job
Love this! I can see I’m going to have to invest in some alcohol inks. I especially like the one you did on acetate.
You make such beautiful cards.
Just love this.
These cards are gorgeous, Jennifer! I love the look of ghost stamping on Yupo - but the one on transparency blew me away! So awesome! Thanks for teaching us ☺️ (I don’t have alcohol inks or archival inks, but I still enjoy watching and learning!) P.S. I’ve been using alcohol swabs to clean my Misti too! 😅 It works great!
I have never used alcohol inks, but I will try them now. Thanks for another great video and ideas.
These cards are so awesome. I have a lot of alcohol inks so I need to get busy!
Love this technique, will try it out later today
I am always so inspired by your ideas and how you pull your technique pieces into beautiful cards. Oh, and as a voice of experience here, on the glass mat, don't leave your non-stick mat over your palette while working with alcohol inks. It will stain if you get a little exuberant with the alcohol inks and splatter on the mat.
These cards are stunning! Alcohol inks did not interest me much before as I felt they would too messy but the results you got - WOW! I have to reconsider.
I only have black archival ink which I didn't use but will definitely try. What I did was spray rubbing alcohol on a makeup sponge and then sponged my stamp. I used a sentiment stamp and while not super clear it still worked pretty well and was clearly legible. I don't have Yupo so I used the back of photo paper. Was fun for my first try.
Wow beautiful technique
This is pretty cool. Love it! ; )
Just watched Tim Holtz demo, and saw yours yestersday, just need to get felt daubers and erase stamp pad! Thanks!
I just did ghost stamping on acetate! Such a great technique. My hands were pretty messy by the time I was done.
I’ve alcohol inks of my wish list. I cleaned my Tim Holtz ruler with an alcohol swab and rubbed all of the markings off - whoops! 😂🙈
Perfect timing. I am just getting ready to spend a day making fun backgrounds. Just wondering if you need to make the background and then do the stamping right away for this technique or can you do the basic backgrounds one day and come back to do the ghost stamping another day. Thanks for all the great tutorials
I'm loving this technique, but can I use a stazon ink pad or a memento ink pad instead since I don't have archival. Thanks for sharing 😊
Simply "AMAZEBALLS"!! :)
love it
I have not been able to duplicate this and I don’t know why. I’ve watched a few times and seem to be doing everything the same. The images are not nearly as crisp. BUT as always, thank you so much. I always look forward to your videos. Thank you for your generosity..
These are absolutely gorgeous, Jennifer! Thank you for sharing your technique with us. I'm wondering why when I've tried it EXACTLY as shown in the video with the same materials, sometimes mine come out like a big smudge of ink. I'm using Pinata alcohol inks as a background on Yupo paper and Ranger archival ink, and wiping it away immediately. What could I be doing wrong? Do certain color combinations work better than others?
Love your techniques. Could you use Stazon instead of the archival for the ghosting technique?
Beautiful backgrounds once again! Love love love your work! Quick question... What do you use to clean the archival ink from your stamps?
Another wonderful vid! Thank you!....I do have a question, can one use glossy photo paper for this? and how about the oxides? I've tried it on Yupo but seems to have a hard time drying, any suggestions?
I use alcohol all the time on my misty and it will lift glue and paint off most surfaces and use to soak my glue bottle caps and paint brushes in if I forget to cap them right away. I have a spray bottle of it handy at all times..cheap cleaner and doesn’t leave a residue.
What great ideas! I do have a question, though; does the glitter cardstock have any fallout? Does the glitter rub off at all?
Love this. I tried it with pearl alcohol inks and it didn't work so they must have different pigments, does anyone know
I love your cards and video today!! they turned out gorgeous.Have you tried cleaning with the Ultra clean? That seems to remove everything for me.
I have ALWAYS used alcohol to clean my Misti and EVERYTHING else in my craftroom. Instead of sawbs, I use a spray bottle with the alcohol and paper towel.
Hi Jennifer, does the alcohol ink rub off of the acetate? Is that why you applied facing upside down on the card you made?
My Tim Holtz mat came today
Does the Archival ink stain your stamps? What's the best way to clean them?
My favorite is the acetate
This is so cool. Is there any way to do this without alcohol ink?
Holy cow! You have a lot of inks! Will this work on glossy card stock as well, or does it have to be yupo oaper?
Love this idea!❤️. Except, now I have a reason to go buy archival ink, which I was trying not to do. 😪. Oh well, .......shopping!
Jen, Is there any other ink beside Archival ink that I could use?
