Alcohol ink art - the TILTING TECHNIQUE - PART 1 - easy way to create beautiful wispy fades [53]
Alcohol ink technique - tutorial.
Alcohol ink fades and wispy is a technique that a lot of people love, including me. When I was new I spend a lot of time trying to learn this and over the years I have found many different ways of achieving this look.
One of my absolute favorite techniques is tilting. So much fun to do.
It was tricky at first, but with a little practice I started getting better and better at it, and now I can't stop the tilting....
It is so fascinating to watch that ink and brass just float around with the alcohol.
If you haven't tried this yet... I hope you will.
I made this piece on Nara paper with Ranger Amethyst and Piñata brass.
Hope you enjoy the video and thank you so much for watching.

Tilting is so much fun 🤩 thank you very much, so glad you like them
I love it - everything about it. Its a perfect balance, gentle, like orchids, very peaceful. This is like something I have been trying to do, but am nowhere near it yet. I have only just found you, I love watching you create your art - there is something almost spiritual about it, like reike 🤷🏼♀️ I dont know, but it is very beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing it. 💕

Thank you 🙏 I use the lowest setting and the cool air function- but it’s not actually cold, there is a bit of heat, which I kind of prefer

The dryer in the link doesn't look like yours. I would like to get one with the cool setting like yours

Mine is a Remington and they don’t have it on Amazon. ( bought mine in Denmark) all though it has a cool setting, it isn’t actually cold. There’s is some heat, which I actually prefer. So if you need/want cool air you shouldn’t get the Remington. The one in the link is a Revlon. I haven’t tried it myself, but I hear from others that it’s good. And the cool setting might be cooler than mine. Hope it helps 😊

@@randihart5731What thickness of Nara paper do you use? I didn’t know it came in different weights. I think 150 microns/gsm is too flimsy?
Is there no sound for this one?
