I use a Coolpad hotspot from the library for streaming so I won't eat up my WiFi data cap. It's pretty good and I also plan on going out with it so I can use it to access the internet.

Hi so im having issues with mine my school had one assign to me because I don't have a hot spot at home for my Chromebook I don't doubt the performance of the hotspot but if my computer wasn't up to date would that make it slower if the software was used and wasn't refurbished like it was supposed to be?

SneezyGibz I wouldn't recommend trying to download games. You will use,way too much data.

I have device for 14 days now and i must tell i'm so happy, free internet everywhere i go:) But first i'm coming from Slovenia (Europe) and i was bought device in Hofer ((Aldi) and Aldi have own mobile network here in Slovenia) it cost me 29.99€ (sim included) but in this price i got 200GB of data for 30 days. So basicly device cost me 15€ and for 15€ i got 200GB of internet for 30 days in LTE+ network. And after 30 days i must just bay new 200GB for 14.99€, i can bay less 50GB 10€ but hei i prefer 200:) What i wana say, its quite expensive internet in the US or on Metro:( i don't wana use services that expensive...o Long live Aldi (Hofer)

Yes but unfortunately, it doesn't work. According to a rep. from Metro PCS, the software is being updated and it should work after that. Guess what?! I've had it for three days and it still doesn't work.

I had Clear and it was 50 bucks a month, unlimited. I used it as my main and 2 laptops and a ps4 and some other devices running at the same time the whole winter and it never skipped a beat, but they went belly up. Verizon has a better product and better service if you bundle you could get 4g LTE unlimited for 30 bucks on top of your phone bill plus the device is around 25 bucks.

How to reset this device?

I used one from a local library so didn't need to get the Sim and it setup just turned it on plugged in the PW and I was connected... Here's the story I just bought one from a guy and it has Sim card so the next step is to go to the phone place get it setup... This was the whole plan was to avoid phone people and just use wifi with Alcatel... Maybe I just don't understand it... It's just another device used as a hotspot but u still pay for it... Does anyone know if this is correct and do u know the flat rate for to get it hooked up a month I'm prolly gonna just sell it

Lluckyhoppo 1 the plans is unlimited so once it's throu it's limit it just become slow....the 4 phone plan it's fast all day but you can't hotspot it
