Park & ride is worth it

The last thing on my bucket list was to ride in a hot air balloon and it was amazing. But to be at this festival and see all those balloons would be another dream!! :)

Honestly the best weather I’ve ever experienced at the fiesta!

Ah, yes, I still remember your great videos from Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta the last couple of years. This event looks like so much fun. This is on our bucket list.We definitely plan to make it here some day. Seeing the sky filled up with all those balloons is amazing. The Chasers Club might be worth the investment. I would love to camp there to be right on site when I wake up... but $800 for a small two person tent seems a bit much. Thanks for bringing us footage from this year's event!

That's a lot of balloons - What a sight! I got to go up in one when I was younger. It was tethered but still fun 🎈

Fun fact that hippy balloon that looks like TieDye is the very first balloon that had the dye pattern printed on every piece of fabric and every piece of fabric was cut by a laser and is numbered it was the first ever balloon to printed not soaked dyed and cut!

And since the Laser Cut Fabric is numbered and lettered if the balloon gets ripped or torn from Wear and Tare you and Enter those numbers and press a button and it will print that portion of the pattern on the fabric and cut it out for you to go in and sew in the Repair! With the sewing machine!

Hi, planning a trip with my older parents for our first trip to the fiesta. Is it worth it to go midweek and pay for the Gondola experience if there isn't a mass ascension planned that day? Looks like the weekend days already sold out for the Gondola and Chasers club.

all of those special tickets sell out so fast. It really depends on their ability to walk around- and whether they are willing to use porta potties. The weekdays are nice because they aren't quite so crowded, and there are still plenty of balloons. I think the most exciting thing is to walk around real close to the balloons, and at the gondola club you are a little far away. If they can walk around a bit and are willing to use porta potties, I would take park and ride to the park. Then they can get up close and personal- you can also bring lawn chairs and on a week day I think you could find a spot to sit in a lawn chair and save the cost of the gondola club. good luck!
