This event had a very special meaning for our family this year so it was wonderful to sit and enjoy the beauty that is the Albuquerque balloon fiesta. Our favorite balloons were the cow and the penguins featured about half way through.

I live in New Mexico, I'll be blunt, locals tend to hate the balloon fiesta because of the increased traffic caused by it. Because this event is really a case of "if you've been once you've seen the whole shebang". Now then, to prove im a local, there's a hotdog restaurant by the name of 'Urban Hotdog Company' they have a hotdog that has macaroni and cheese and bacon bits on it. It is named: The Crafty Dog

Please shout out any cool balloons we should be looking for! It was great to meet so many of the pilots, they were very friendly and willing to chat about their operation. Next year's aeronautical adventure will be to the Reno Air Races, something we've wanted to do for years.

He inflated but never took off, at least in the time we were watching. He did fly on day 2. Check out my other video around 2:44 - kzread.info/dash/bejne/qqVrmpWgmZDOmNI.html Yoda was there with him too on that day.
How many hot air balloons are there

They claim about 500. We tried a rough count while they were taking off and it was over 300. Not sure if it's more or less because of Covid and the cancellation last year.
