It makes sense that instrumentally it sounds kinda similar to Killswitch Engage, melodic metalcore was heavily inspired by melodic death metal.

Holy molly, Hecatomb wasn't a highlight for my ears. Now I understand that this is a goddamn properly written short horror novel with a soundtrack. And what a read it was!

You could say that about almost any song Trevor penned. He was a true lyrical genius.

Rituals is great. Let's be real they're all good. These guys are well respected. Trevor is goat lyricist abd vocalist, storyteller really. When I see black metal vocalist wearing BDM shirts i get it.
