Tomaso Albinoni great Italian composer of the late Baroque.Genius!. I don't find the proper words to describe the feeling when I listen this heavenly music.Great music I can listen to it all the time.

I agree when I heard these pieces for the first time I was amazed I didnt think that baroque music was wonderful!!!!
Whoever gathered this collection deserves a big medal. I just love the UP beat in all the pieces. It is all so uplifting and beautiful. I love you, Albinoni.

I am very grateful for this album! Love Albinoni, love oboe! It`s like music from heaven!
This is a glorious 2 hours and 45 minutes of hookline, after hookline ,after hookline. To me, Albinoni wrote the equivalent of today's pop music , in his time, and these incredible oboe concertos, are a perfect example of that . I can't think of any other composer who wrote such incredibly memorable, catchy pieces - with no 'fillers' whatsoever; not a single note is a wasted one -.every single note, phrase, and melody is so lyrical, and instantly memorable and accessible to the listener . My 'internal jukebox' loves Albinoni's oboe concertos, and I often find myself humming/whistling any one of these pieces in my head, wherever I happen to be.

I am a great fan of the music of Albinoni! Little do people know that he was a genius as well! Brilliant Oboe Concerto and wonderfully performed by Stefan Schilli. He is an outstanding Oboe player! One should also listen to Albinoni's Adagio for Cello or Organ and it will make you cry! Such is the brilliance of this amazing Composer! Well, what have the Italians not given to Classical music world? It speaks for itself!

That damn Adagio in G minor -one of the famous pieces of music that people are fed early on to decide whether they should bother with the world of music prior to the 1950s or not, was apparently misattributed to him all along.

Symphony orchestras don't tend to play very much music by Baroque composers. Bach, Vivaldi, maybe Handel. That's about it.

More brilliant composers from the past, present, and future will NEVER be heard than we will ever know! Lucky we have KZread as a platform for valuable posts like this, and the cultural warriors who make the efforts for these recordings to be made more immediately available, - not to mention those who actually DID make the recordings!

Albinoni camerto muy soul when i was ay medical school, in April 1982 my parents went yo visit me while giving social service in a remote rural zone of the sierra of Sonora, my parents were one ir two days with me and farewell on the Bavispe river, i was hearing the oboe concerto Op.7 meanwhile they slowly crossed the river on their truck, i Stayed there hours hearing the divine Albinoni that saturday afternoon: Albinoni enhances flow of souls

Wenn man von jemandem sagen kann, dass er auf vivaldischem Niveau komponieren konnte, mithin zu den Achttausendern der okzidentalen Musik gehört, und das waren in dieser Klasse neben dem Meister (J.S.B.) nur noch Albinoni und Marcello, dann gehört dieser Mann zum europäischen musikalischen Hochadel. I'm not a connoisseur at all ... I'm not an expert nor do I get close to being a fan of classical music, but let's all have heard classical music out there ... in some documentary, by commercial on TV, in a store. .. on the radio somewhere ... but always with the most "famous" and "popular" musicians and although they are very beautiful works of art ... when I discovered the music of Albinoni something made me stop and enjoy ... So, without more or more ... enjoy your music as few times the music made me feel .... it was like .... travel to a world of sensations, it made me feel and almost moved to tears by hyper sensitization of my mind to feel how the sounds calmed me the anxiety that I suffer for many years ... made me want to live in peace and remember my childhood and my parents ... my life ... made me feel lonely and at the same time joy ... it's very strange ... it's such a beautiful and harmonious style ... and since I do not know it every new melody is t good or better than the previous one and little by little with emotion I enjoy every subtle change of rhythm ... sorry if I can not use the correct language to describe this music, I am not knowledgeable and I only try to share what makes me feel .. Its style is so valid that it could be used today in a commercial and it would feel as if time had not passed ... this man Albinoni was a being ahead of his time or simply his art is timeless and even more than 300 years old. his death can feel his wonderful sensitivity to write music ... he is so harmonious and happy and suddenly so moving that from the joy of life you can see yourself wrapped in a sensibility of melancholy so subtle ... that you can enjoy it, today when I feel sad, I find his music more cheerful and I can imagine myself in a castle running with the clothes of the time ... or I can imagine myself in a current park running with my pet among trees in search of my beloved girlfriend ... I love it because it makes me dream...

You know, the funny thing about Albinioni is his modesty. He never really considered himself a composer in the professional sense. He was a tradesman whose family made playing cards. Yes, playing cards. He always considered himself an amateur and his compositions a kind of hobby. The oboe was for his wife. He said that the oboe's timbre reminded him of his wife's voice. She must have been a beautiful and joyful woman if she's to be judged by his music, also moments of great tenderness. One gets the sense that there was much joy and love in his life. Or I hope so. Albinioni's music is some of the most joyful and life affirming in the western canon.

He deconciled his story ... and that his art was the purest and most honest art, there is nothing more honest than a point of view of someone who is not knowledgeable, just as I who only listen to him and can say exactly what makes me feel without judging the rules of composition or scores ... I am not an expert and that makes what I say is what I feel without polluting my point of view with the ariticial knowledge that gives the study a topic ... I love your music is very elegant ... and never had passed that by putting it ... could so delicious ... so peaceful and relaxing ... some of Vivadi and my favorite music of all tismpo: My Canon in D major of Johann Pachelbel, ... thanks for telling me a bit about Albinoni's story ... I'll make a video with beautiful shots in the field and I'll use some of this man's song ... maybe I died in a castle in his time because his music It makes you enjoy something strange as if suddenly everything was clear and you were remembering my other da ... it's as if ... I had between melancholy, longing and joy to hear again my psychological imprints

His creativity and compositions to reproduce feelings and moods with such naturalness and spontaneity is beautiful. One of the greatest composers and master of the Baroque, without a doubt!

I play guitar also really helps me hear scales in my head. Randy Rhoads is my favorite guitar player his parents ran a music school and he was classically trained

Telemann also wrote some excellent oboe concertos. Some of his oboe sonatas are straight-up precursors of jazz

No he escuchado música más triste y hermosa como el famoso "Adagio" de Albinoni, pero estos "Conciertos para Oboe", están llenos de una gracia y alegría que nos contagian de optimismo!
De toute manière j'adore tout ce qui peut être considéré comme grande musique car à notre époque peu de personnes s'y intéresse. Quand à moi c'est un privilège de pouvoir écouter de tels bijoux dans ma maison. En effet je suis loin de tout, en pleine campagne et c'est mon refuge, avec mes écouteurs, je navigue dans ma maison, et je chante sur ces morceaux, surtout les voix, j'aime les doubles, triples voix. Merci

The unique voice of the oboe. It enraptures the soul just listening how it tells a story, an event, a feeling. I feel bewitched at its sound. It caresses me, it whispers to me in such a personal voice and makes me surrender to it docilely and submissively and I love being carried away to another times and places in the magical tunes of its sounds. Grazie Maestro Albinoni, Lei siete stato scelto dalle Muse con quelle godete ora loro compagnia.

"Ethereal" is how I would best describe Albinoni's concertos. Even Bach's works don't have the same feel as these recordings. Albinoni is really unique in the elegance of his concertos.

Imagine to meet Albinoni, in his time... the music has a smooth velvet sound in the oboe use, all of it in a major key, rapturous top line, exquisite sense of new born Spring life, it's joyous yet strong tone, that he maintiains, this definiteness in every section, makes it's never boring. Albinoni, he's the master.
A big, full sound for a baroque orchestra. I like it.
Just love the oboe being played in my home town, Stuttgart, some 7 Miles away. Thank you for this fine recording.
Ich wusste gar nicht, das Stuttgart so ein gutes Kammerorchester hat! Sie spielen wirklich mit dem Touch vom italienischen Barock! Nicht viele deutschen Orchester können dies. Man denkt immer an die Mannheimer Schule die ja fast immer auf Barock spezialisiert war.

Es complicado opinar lo que es mejor o peor, es cuestión de gustos. Yo también amo a Vivaldi y a Albinoni y por supuesto al Grande Bach. Aún así te recomiendo profundices en Haendel y Telemann... dos titanes a tener muy en cuenta. Pone el buscador con el "dixit dominus" de Handel o busca cualquier concierto para oboe o flauta de Telemann. Saludos.

Y a Teleman también, lo mismo que a Pachelbel, Corelli, Scarlatti, los herma os Marcello, y tantos otros.... a veces pienso que yo debería haber nacido en el Barroco. A mi juicio, la época más gloriosa para la Música. Gracias una vez más por tus sugerencias. Creo que la Música es una gran compañera en estos tiempos convulsos que vivimos. ♥️🍀

@@manuelaformoso4647 Justo venía a recomendarte a Corelli y Scarlatti hijo pero los citaste ya. La escuela italiana y alemana en aquellos tiempos hacían una rivalidad que solo incrementaba el nivel. Y también pienso como tú sobre haber nacido en el período Barroco, todo era hermoso, HASTA LAS PELUCAS!
Vivaldi e Albinoni foram e são gênios que não veremos mais tão facilmente. Não consigo ver hoje qualquer músico que pudesse chegar a este patamar. É belíssimo!

this music is absolutly marvellous
The art of Albinoni is very different from that of his venetian challenger Vivaldi. This art is a very elegant and aristocratic one. The concerti for oboe(s) in op.7 & 9 evidence it particulalry throigh the contrast of sonority between the soloist and the tutti. The intepretation is quite astonishing. The tempi are siower than in most of interpretations. This emphasizes the paculiar features of this music.

Famous JS Bach had very high respect and regards for Albinoni music. He was even giving Albinoni's art to his students to practise. This particular oboe concerto is probably the best ever written Had a personal heartache when my little dog died. Listen this concerto and cried my heart out. So sad

Tommaso Albinoni, di 7 anni più vecchio di Vivaldi, si definiva: Musico di violino, dilettante Veneto. Essendo di famiglia molto benestante, non aveva bisogno di esibirsi per guadagnare del danaro. Si dedicava quindi alla composizione. Molte delle sue opere sono andate perdute dopo il criminale bombardamento di Dresda da parte degli alleati durante la seconda guerra mondiale. Albinoni godeva di grande fama, alla pari di Vivaldi e Corelli. Bach lo conosceva e ne utilizzò temi e linee dei bassi. L'opera più celebre sarebbe il famoso Adagio, che però è un falso, perché la composizione è stata opera di Giazotto, che imitò lo stile di Albinoni. Dal punto di vista strutturale, Albinoni compone in modo decisamente più accademico di Vivaldi, che predilige invece l'estro e la fantasia. Ascoltare Albinoni è puro nutrimento dello spirito.

Criminale per numero di morti civili, per la modalità di uccisione (bombe incendiarie), per la inutilità del bombardamento dato che Dresda non aveva obiettivi militari e industriali ma era piena di profughi civili che fuggivano dal fronte di guerra e per finire questa città era un centro di raccolta di prigionieri anglo-americani che quindi morirono uccisi dalle bombe dei loro connazionali. Infine, sappia signor ignorante, che l'esercito nazista è stato decimato dall'esercito russo sovietico e che i russi hanno avuto il maggior numero di morti nella II guerra mondiale e quindi sono loro i vincitori che hanno salvato l'europa!
