This is a pretty niche subject for those who subscribe to the channel because this is a full break-down of the final project that fourth year carpentry students in Alberta must build. If I understand correctly, there are only three trades left that have a final project which must receive a 70% or more.
I often wonder about the legitimacy of this project because it does feel like a cabinetmaking project but I have finally landed on acceptance because if I break down the tasks, it is something every carpenter should be able to do.

If you are a fourth year carpenter and you have stumbled across this video, you should be aware that we have been using a 5/8" modesty panel since the pandemic. For some reason we could not get any 1/2" K3 core oak for a couple of years and now we are just used to it.
