20 000 acres for a few hundred cattle. Does this mean there is not a lot of fields in those acres? Mostly forest?

Michael DeBolt yeah so it’s permitted seasonal grazing. That means the most the timberland can support is a couple hundred cattle for three or four months, without causing irreparable damage to the ecology of the land itself. And the reason being, he says it’s mostly in timber. If it were grassland it would probably be a different story. So they own a thousand acres, lease 2000, and seasonally graze 20,000.
