From the private movie (the 1950s ?): During his visit of the Alsace he visits the church where he plays the organ, which many years earlier was built under his supervision. He tests the organ and discusses some questions about intonation/tuning; Introduction and comment by Albert Schweitzer himself (orginal voice with caption-translation).

OMG cant believe I;'m watching him play this.. The man who with Widor edited all of Bach's music. Sobbing here watching this. OMG
Great man and wonderful example of life. Thanks for sharing.
Absolutely wonderful to see and hear the great man speaking about Gunsbach and playing Bach Prelude in D on the organ there. One of the greatest human beings of all time
What a wonderfull film! Treasures for me.
Was bin ich froh und dankbar, auf dieses Dokument hier zu stoßen. Ganz lieben Dank für diesen Moment, Albert Schweitzer zu erleben, wie er mit dem Orgelbauer spricht.
OMG cant say anything else. Hearing him tune the organ.
Thanks for posting this! My guess is that this was shot about 1950, when Schweitzer made a number of recordings on this organ. This instrument was re-invented some years back by Alfred Kern and the playing action changed to mechanical.
Superbe document !
After all is said and done, the fact remains that this man is a mystery _ what Mr Schweitzer said about Bach is equally applicable to him also....
Very interesting footage! :-)
GREATEST SOUL IN THE WORLD
PRICELESS - THANK YOU
