Albert Lee is the finest guitarist in Nashville as far as I'm concerned. All these guys playing new country are fine players but every one of then is trying to be Albert Lee and there's only one of him. And what a wonderful tune. Someone commented that this sounded a little jazzy and on this version, it likely just the changes. I've seen Albert do this tune jazzy and it would have a lot of jazz players quaking in their boots. He can play anything and everything and play it well.

Instead of comparing, enjoy both. Albert is more "fingerish", while Eric is a better songwriter and singer, and plays more styles. Enjoy the 5 years they were together (79-83), there are many gigs bootlegs in Yt
Saw Albert in Leek Staffs, in 2011. As good as the first time I saw him in Hackney in 1963. Brilliant
Saw Albert last year. Amazing! Got to meet him after the show, very nice man. Going to see him again in November at Hunstanton. Lots of tickets left. Treat yourself!
So melodic and well played..love that picking style
No word only, this is music all that music is about ...amazing ,thank you guys very much .
"Well, you've obviously read my guitar playing manual" - Nick Lowe.
A great group of brilliant musicians. Thank you!
Guitariste de génie + mec sympa = la marque des tout grands ! Exceptionnel !
saw this genius guitarist in the video of concert for george then searching him in google.my God this guy is so talented
Love this version, great musicians! Can't stop listening!
I've been an Albert fan for decades but, THIS PIANO MAN is a monster!!!
those musicians are in the top of their leagues. I'd already seen the pianist (Jim Cox) playing with Mark Knopfler in the A Night in London DVD so I already knew the guy was amazing. As for Albert Lee... it's impossible to get better than that
Albert Lee is one of my all time favourite guitar players in the world. Wish I could play like that. Think I'll go burn my guitar now... Lol... Keep up the good work. Albert.

Please don't do that Larry! That's the way I used to feel about great musicians miles ahead of me. Just think about it as something inspirational instead.

Awsome player! WOW. A true natural

When anyone talks of greatest guitarists Albert Lee has to be mentioned alongside, if not above every one of them.

And, he is just the sweetest guy ever. Sometimes, it's like he doesn't even recognize what a musical genius he is. He just wants to get out there and play.
Albert Lee is simply marvelous!

An uptempo rockabilly number that never feels rushed. The guitar part has a lovely old-timey feel. Very sweet!

Albert Unreal
The sign of a truly great player is when you can say that no one else sounds like them. You know it's Albert when you hear those loose strings. A monster and I love him. Just crazy about all the shit he loves to cover too. The SHIT.
