Kosovo is still, by law, within territorial integrity of Serbia, and will be until it's recognized as an independent state by the UN. Also it was part of Serbia since the middle ages and is the cradle of Serbian culture, which is why Serbs feel so attached to it, even if over the last century the Serbian population was replaced by Albanian population, due to ethnic cleansing, genocide and forced acquisition of land, which still continues to this day.

Let's say that Croats still trying to forget the war that Serbian goverment in '90s brought to us. For any person who did not experience the war in theit country it's hard to explain what hell this is. E.g. Serbians didn't experience the war in their country (after WWII). Croats did. Croatia still have deep scars from that war. It takes time for wounds to heal. But then, 10 years ago, Aleksandar Vučić rised on serbian political scene. For 10 years this guy was just sharing hate between Serbs and other nations in Balkan. I'm not saying that "someone in the street" said "Kill Serb" or "Kill Croat". I'm saying that high ranking serbian politicians are calling Croats as Ustaše, making public oppinion in Serbia to think of all Croats as butchers. This is the same narative Milošević used before he unleashed hell on Croatia in the begining of '90s. Not to mention BiH, not to mention Kosovo... Vučić's warmongering through last 10 years brought us here, today in competitive sports match where two opponent fan groups cheering for the same thing - "Kill Serb!". This is disgusting but... this is not the action. This is re-action. I'm a Croat and I was born and lived my childhood in a country where my best friend was Serb and my first love was Serbian girl... When this country fell apart, serbian leadership thought that they can occupy the territory of lost country by force. Serbians "inherited" most of weaponry from ex Yugoslavian army, thus the self-confidence. With many casulties, destroyed families and homes, Coroatia somehow survived that war. I'd like like to forget that war as soon as possible and continue my life with Serbs as friends but warmongering president of Serbia is preparing another war supported by Russia and China. If Russia didn't "fail" in Ukraine, we'd already be in that war. Guys, this is serious s**t. Now, if we're talking about sport and inappropriate "cheering", both of Croatian and Albanian FAs should be punished for hate speach.

Fun fact Serbia actually is found guilty of crime against humanity in Sarajevo and Kosova, Croatia and Slovenia. Was the main cause of WW1 which lead to WW2. So after making its neighbours victims of their atrocities with their crimes, violence and destruction they are a bit surprised and sad to hear that its victims are sick of them.
