I can understand why misinformed people might consider the so-called ‘west bank’ as disputed or occupied territory. But I am completely bamboozled when it comes to Gaza. In 2005, Israel gave up Gaza to the Palestinian Authority under Abbas. All Gazan Jews were removed from their homes and resettled in Israel. Israel does not govern or occupy Gaza in any way. They completely gave it up and pulled out. It was a beautiful place, and could have been a Mediterranean Singapore. But it is now Hamastan.
