What a dream job. Too bad these jobs aren't available without extensive insider connections. I went to school to be a forestry machine operator. Aced all my tests, was really interested. No jobs for 3 years so had to go back to school for a different thing.

Yeah that's very sad... Here in Germany, many forestry companies are searching for machine operators at the moment. But the conditions are problematic, since it's very likely that you are on the road for most of the year, working at different places all over the country. The Albach Diamant that you can see here, is working for customers throughout Germany. And, depending on where you're working, the salary is relatively low.
