Alatreon- No Armor HH Solo(TA wiki style)

This is a no armor challenge run for fun, not a speedrun. But TA Wiki rules was applied to the challenge (no mantles, wallbangs, palico, slinger & utility items). This challenge run was given to me by @Vellasky, so he set the rules for this.
The first 10 seconds (self buffing) was cut off because Nvidia instant replay can record a MAX of 20 mins, and the run ended at 19mins (plus I need to show the end screen for timer). Still kinda my fault since it could end faster if I played better and choked less 🤣
Run is not perfect and obviously had quite some mistakes, especially starting from the middle towards the end because of 3 main reasons:
1. Starting mid run I needed to juggle between the HH buffs expiry, consumables, sharpness, and managing his rage mode (I don't have overlay info for all these). Had to sacrifice openings to maintain buffs and other stuff. My poor brain could not multitask, so it's a skill issue
2. Playing safer than usual to reduce risk of dying, cause I have no armor.
3. I am losing focus and starting to get nervous as the run goes longer, I'm only human after all, and I haven't been playing MH recently. I came back to de-rust after seeing the Wilds trailer.
Without armor, anything touching me would mean death, except for Escaton & fire puddles (fixed damage). DPS is also much lower without armor since there's no armor skills like attack and crit, and some openings you cannot tank and punish. Charm is allowed so I used evasion charm to make life easier. There's definitely a lot of room to improve on this run, but it's for fun, I don't wanna get stressed over it.

What a clean run and the finish was perfect! Watching ur play style I realized I need to be more patient. Setting up my swings and positioning not rushing it. Good run congrats!

thanks. that depends, in an armored run there are a few openings I would handle differently because I can take the risk or trade the hits. And for some it was because I had to sacrifice the opening to rebuff melody extended, some are straight up mistakes 🤣

@@torpedosoup Yea u right no armor def gonna change play style a lil. When he does the stomp move I feel like I have to roll into it and bouncing off it to evade it. Looked like you were doing same. Or might just be my eyes lol

@@Teco86 not sure which one u mean. I do have the different punishes covered in my alatreon guide video if ur interested, the moveset breakdown starts after 30 mins roughly

Okay. Okay. You got some skills. I give you that. But can you do all that with one hand tied behind your back? 🤔🥱 Jokes aside, incredible concentration. By far I think this is the hardest challenge I ever seen you attempted? (Not sure if your no hit run from D's or seikiro would be harder or not). Having a 20 minutes run to focus on hitting, dodging, positioning, buff management, and not to forget to do that dragon echowaves at dragon phase just to ensure elemental topple. Astounding performance. Well done.

Hard to compare different games but I’d say this one is harder. Because you need to stay focused for longer time without mistakes. Not only avoiding hits but also punishing correctly, managing buffs etc etc. if I didnt already know alatreon this will be impossible. Those no hit bosses dont last that long, and DS bosses all took me only around 2 hours to learn moveset+achieve no hit in the same session lol. But they come with different challenges. Im not doing fancy things in DS, just dodge/parry and attack.
