Was there during his dismissal, really wanted him to get to 200. He set an example on how to play spin with proper footwork and shot selection. One of the best innings I've seen live.

This is a very good example of why Ashwin is not picked in critical Test matches overseas. Without of the aid of a doctored snake-pit of a pitch, he is very, very ordinary.

I remember how scared I was from this man before 2017 Eng tour of Ind test series. But he failed after the 1st match.

In those days Indian pitches weren't made rank Turner like these . Now , Indians cricket are often rank turner and using our home advantage . They care about about it will last for 4 or 5 days . We are afraid to make netural pitches where test can survive upto 4-5 days . That's why we lost last 2 wtc . It is absolutely every use their home but not like Indian cricket team . We only plays for entertain public and trp.

Does England SA Australia make neutral pitches when India tour them? No absolutely not, they too make pitches that support them, support fast bowling a lot, and when India makes pitches which support spin people just can't take it because Indian batsmen are too good cause they are able to play those high swing and seaming conditions, and batsmen of Aus, Eng, SA are just too bad against spin(obviously excluding some).

@@ABcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwx-qh4di bro have some knowledge first, India cannot produce fast seaming pitches, it's the nature of the pitches here, it's either flat or turning, people want flat pitches in the name of neutral ones. Basically we can't make sena kind of pitches even if we want to. And producing flat pitches won't help either as still fast bowlers won't get any help. And wtcs are held in eng, and currently our team is capable enough to beat anyone in English conditions, we have won matches everywhere now, not only in India, it's just the matter of extreme pressure on the players that they aren't able to perform in finals
