I would love to see a spin-off series that focuses on just Heimo’s family, but The Last Alaskans ended at the perfect time since Bob was such a huge part of the story

This is one of my favorite shows , living in Northern Wisconsin I can relate to there dark winters ours isn’t as bad but it starts at 4:30 pm and lasts till 7:am

Hiemo and Edna are my favorites but I just love the last Alaskans hope they come back on

I've met Heimo twice when I've been hunting. This was before he became famous from the show. Seemed like a good man.

Appreciate it. If you never knew this way of people or any people living off the land, real people like Heimo, you missed something

i lived in the arctic for a few years lol trust me it's not for everyone the weather makes you pay attention it's a whole new way of life and things are not taken for granted

6 weeks of no sun a year isn't that bad, now 6 months, that's a problem.

I don't know how anyone lives there. That would be just horrible...,I can't stand winter in the midwest, dark at 5 pm, and dark when you wake up at 6 am. Just awful.

We only get daily twilight that far north. Early morning straight to evening then dark again no full sun daylight in between We still have full moons and they seem pretty bright especially in the winter.

It's only way up north. Anchorage gets daylight from 10:30 or 11:00 then back to dark again starting around 3:00pm. But the daylight is at a steep angle no sun directly over head.

So was this filmed 2014? And aired 2022?

I knew his voice as soon as he spoke. One of my favourite shows was last Alaskans. One thing I don’t like or like to see is a foot trap. They need to be using conibears, to catch an animals foot and then they slowly die is not human.

It was a WOKE decision on the part of Discovery, dam shame for sure! The best show ever for my money on there channel.

I would lose my dam mind!! Cold as a well diggers Ass, then total darkness for a large portion of the year? No thx! I mean , to each their own,.. but that's jus not for me,. I'd much prefer sun tan bikinis, bottle blonde hair, blue eyes,dub- D cup.. imomy idea of livin' ,.. everybody's different I guess, but I feel happy when sun's out..
