    Salmon have to deal with sharks bears and other predators, and are saltwater and fresh water fish, AND have to swim UP Stream to mate and lay eggs???? Wow..... Salmon are awesome.

    Pluggo the sluggo You act like you’re the only one in the world who has to be an adult. Nobody cares. Parents? Some people don’t have parents. School? Some people don’t get the chance to go to school. Bully? Stand up for yourself. Stress and anxiety? You act like you’re being drafted to go to war, you have the chance to make your life what you want. You have it better than the vast majority of people on this planet have ever had it.     @@worksmagic89 The fastest fish on the planet is the Mako. Salomon Sharks are shorter and slightly stouter and they are speedy. The most amazing thing is how their eyes are set in front of the face and not to the sides of its head, they can see straight in front of them and and attack their pray with such speed & accuracy. It's one amazing fish..

    @@le-blanc1440 the farms act as breeding grounds for desiease and when wild salmon pass by with their already hurting immune systems (due to it shutting down during a salmon run ) they get sick and die

    That's a pretty rare sight. I've hooked a salmon shark only two times while fishing. Never seen them leap like that. Always thought they were seconded by the Greenland shark for ugliness.

    @@overloadn_3681 Surfer Shannon Ainsley (sp?) was attacked by 2 Whites at the same time, too, but, 2 is still better than a pack. Shannon survived with minimal injury.

    In Thorne bay I was swimming across the bay with the swim team when I poked my head under and saw about thirty salmon sharks circling around our team we kept swimming but every now and then they would brush up against us

    izzymania92 it's not a river, they live across the alaskan coast...that included lagoons and thing like that but they don't live in fresh waters
