I love that she says sometimes meditation isn't the answer to everything and sometimes it can hurt more. It's very true. I'm not a big fan of meditation but the fact that she says her album is inviting you to feel whatever emotion that comes up and not just zen makes me want to buy it

Alanis is a profound lyricist, a real gem. That's why I admired her so much in the 90s

I am four years older than her and felt a revolution begin for women, when I heard her album, Jagged Little Pill, because her lyrics were so introspective and reflected the thoughts and feelings I had growing up. I had so much admiration for her bravery and being so outspoken and I also enjoyed her singing and creativity musically.

Kelly is right!!! BEST SHOW EVER! Alanis is no joke, her voice is ethereal, and I’ll see her every time she comes around. She didn’t tune down, she hit every note and was non stop for 2 solid hours. No chatty breaks, just energy from start to finish. I love her!

She is so Canadian, smart, funny, humble and kind! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️🇨🇦

I have tickets to her show in Vancouver and I’ll be 39 weeks pregnant! Baby better stay in there til after the show 🥰

I am so glad that KC confirmed what I already know, Jagged Little Pill is one of the greatest albums of all time. And KC's quick cover of You Oughta Know, imitating Alanis' voice, proves that she knows and loves it for real.

@@reannadixon2398 for me it's because the person speaking has a slow tone or pauses alot. Second to that, ill be watching a tutorial and I don't want to skip spots but I know parts of the video I don't need so I speed it up.

It makes me so happy that she has the recognition she deserves from her peers. Such a pioneer and visionary.

OMG LLOOOVE HER and Kelly is right everything she says is so beautiful and poetic. I love when Kelly gets to talk to other writers. I could have listened to them talk for hours. 💓 I think if Kelly and Alanis wrote a song together it would be 🤯

Ohhhh! I would love that! I loved that Kelly said she's a lyrics girl! (Or something like that) I love lyrics too! I can love a melody without liking the lyrics.. But when the lyrics are great.. like really saying something.. I fall in love for life 😆

Her music and voice is legendary. I loved her in Weeds and Dogma too.

Alanis - got my tickets for TORONTO - July 17th!!!! I'm so close to the stage! FRONT CENTRE I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!! I rocked out to Jagged Little Pill all through High School! You're a Canadian Legend and I cannot WAIT to see you in Concert!!!!!

As a singer songwriter and nomadic traveler, this entire dialogue poured rich nourishment into my heart!!!

The first time I ever heard the name and saw Alanis was on the Nickelodeon show, "You Can't Do That on Television". I always thought she had such a cool name. Fast forward to when Jagged Little Pill came out and I was blown away that it was the same Alanis from Nickelodeon haha. She's just so amazing. I love her! Side note I still have my record of the Smurfs All-star Show haha. I have never known another person to know that record. It made me smile when she mentioned it. Hugs and love to you Kelly❤️

I mostly listen to metal music but I have to admit Jagged Little Pill was one of the best albums every made!! Every song is fantastic!!

I love the honesty in her songs I'm in the same MBTi group as her and I get why she drinks. Being an INFJ is a bit of battle with yourself mostly a few shots in your down time can help you detach from everything. It's nice to get a female perspective on life

I went to the concert and she rocked!!!

Kelly just drank in every word Alanis said, I absolutely loved this!

I had the pleasure of seeing Alanis in 1999 with Garbage in Denver, CO. I had a disposable camera taking pictures and they took my camera away😕. I took my 9 year old daughter, her first concert.
