My friend and I saw North in the theaters when it came out, we were around 12yo at the time. We loved it so much! Right after I watched it, I remember hearing about the bad reviews, including the horrible Roger Ebert review. I was so surprised and confused, lol. It was around that time that I realized that just because critics don't like a movie, it doesn't mean that I can't love it. Now I want to go find it and watch it again :)

Achoo and Asneeze would never exist in modern times. "Circumcisions. Half off." Nope. The scary part is that Garth was woke before woke was a thing. Spade is Spade- he's fine. You don't run with Norm by chance. I legitimately loved this interview. Comedy Art Proper. Thank you all. Bravo.

"If you want to lick it it's a quarter" is trochaic pentameter. The term “trochaic pentameter” refers to a type of meter in poetry. A line that uses this meter contains a total of ten syllables. These ten syllables can be separated into groups of two. These are known as metrical feet. The first syllable on each foot is stressed or accented. The second syllable is unstressed, or unaccented.

Absolutely loved North. Growing up we weren't allowed to watch many movies and thankfully this one was, we watched it over and over. So cool to hear an interview with the man who brought it to life. Sorry it was shat on by that dingleberry critic whose clothing and plastic surgery choices made sure I stayed away from things he recommended.

Noooo! I was a kid when North came out and I thought it was magical. I only learned as an adult that it wasn’t well received. I rewatched it a couple years ago for nostalgic purloins still appreciated it. An overrated movie critic is not the target audience, but Alan’s son and I were.
