As a person who not only loves video games, but cinema as well, Remedy is a dream studio for me. Taking the live action format, a full-fledged soundtrack that has real meaningful implementation into the game and marrying all those things together into this work of passion is astounding. Came to say the same thing. Cross-media is nothing new in games, we have had expanded universe stories for years. What's unique about Remedy is that they smash their cross-media together, into one experience. There is SO MUCH in Alan Wake 2. So much character, so much story, so many ways of telling said story. They are an amazing studio

When this song started playing, it instantly gave me shivers, reminding of Netflix series DARK and its intro song.

You showed everyone how important music is in videogames. It's the best soundtrack I've ever had in a game. Never skipped a song and you should delete the skip feature. Much love to all of you guys at Remedy! ❤

It's actually the opposite for me. This song made me want to really take my time with the game and explore carefully. I wanted to stay in this world as long as I could without really stalling.

The whole story and atmosphere is so mature. And i love when a game has serious questions and actions.

God the original alan wake saved my life when i was kid; I got it at a time in my life where I was just a mess and I remember spending weeks upon weeks playing it over and over again because of how strongly I related to the Dark // Light elements and how much I wanted to learn and know every bit of story; and it was so important to me that ive spent every year since replaying it- every october i boot up alan wake and replay it because its such a special and important game to me. i've been waiting 13 years for the remake; and im so excited and proud to see how good it looks and this song really sets such a wonderful mood, i truly can not wait for the 27th to be able to play through more of alans story and have another game thats so special in my heart

I can feel it. Like swimming through the darkness to feel own emotions and understand them. I remember watching my brother play Alan Wake when I was a kid and I couldn't wait for all the new "episodes" and songs

I am 29. Heavy gamer, no-lifer even. Played so many games, and I know the game market pretty well, but I can tell you that Alan Wake 2 was the best game I have ever played in my life so far.

It is mindbogglingly to me what Sam is pulling off with this game. I am confident this achievement will never again be approached, let alone duplicated. I can only hope Sam Lake receives the industry acknowledgement he deserves.

Remedy is simply that good

This song gave me goosebumps when it played at chapter end, fits perfectly into the atmosphere of game, this game has god level editing. Salute to Sam lake, who never failed to deliver a unique narrative and storytelling experience. I am completely immersed in AW2!!

I had to sit and just listen to this at the end of chapter 1. I was shocked. Pleasantly so. And I had the biggest grin on my face.

Sam Lake is a fucking genius Period, he made my dreams bigger and more complex, he taught me how to embrace darkness and what a good narrative really is, wow wow, masterpiece.

Notice how her voice changes when she sings - anxious designs of the darkest kind. It sounds like darkness possesses her. Brilliant idea to implement it into this song.

I am literally shaking. It catches the atmosphere the trailers give me so well. Can’t wait to finally play the game.

took me 6 minutes to realise i had to press continue for the cutscene to go away after this song. It felt like a second though, this song had completely mesmerized me

i just stood there frozen looking at the "end of chapter" screen absorbing everything the game had delivered so far, contemplating everything ahead of me on this journey soaking in the music, and feeling. everything.

I play and finish Alan Wake 1 with its DLC every year since its release. Now after 13 years my dream to play the sequel becomes true Thank you Remedy:)

The music in AW1 gave it so much identity and I couldn't imagine the game without it. Can't wait for whatever awaits us in the sequel!

The moment when you realize that Remedy completely one-upped Larian Studios' Baldur's Gate 3 by going above and beyond in setting a totally new standard for the video gaming industry. Alan Wake 2 is a true love letter for the creative process. A passion project through and through.

I get what you're saying. But I think both BG 3 and AW 2 are truly special games for, different reasons. I def believe Larian was extremely passionate about BG 3 and it shows. Just like Remedy was with AW 2. They were making completely dif games though. Also with Epic funding the development of this I think it's safe to say they had quite the budget, not that it's a low budget game, but obv AW 2 had a bigger budget than BG 3.

There is always love in every story. Alan's fight to get back home to Alice is... to put it, on a epic scale. He followed her in to the dark. Just started to play the game, just as amazing story as the first one 💛

Man what a game. Got 23 hours playtime and I know I still have a lot left. Been taking my time exploring every nook and cranny, and just enjoying the heck out of it. One of those game you start playing and completely loose track of time you're enjoying it so much.

Some things on this planet they need to be supported irrespective of financial success. Remedy studios is one of them. Just genius the way this unfolds in the game!! This isn’t just a game it’s an experience a once in a lifetime one

One of my favorite things in the first game was just sitting in my room in the dark listening to the songs after an episode ended and just taking in the vibes and processing what happened. Glad to see that will be coming back better than ever. Just another sign that this game has everything that made the first one good.

Just bought this absolute masterpiece of a game (yes I am more than confident it is a masterpiece after only a few hours into it) and had this playing. My jaw dropped onto the table. I think I need a new jaw because this happened a few times now after pressing "start a new game". The symbiosis between book, film and game is incredible and all of it is interconnected between Remedy's franchises. I'm blown away. Simply wonderful what you created. 13 years and I don't regret waiting for it. Happy Halloween and *Thank you, Remedy!*

Definitely the best song on this soundtrack. When i've heard it in the game i was blown away and listened to it multiple times on the radio in Saga's Mind Palace... Beautiiful and soooooo moody song, perfectly reflecting the atmosphere of Alan Wake 2.

For he did not know that beyond the lake he called home, lies a deeper darker ocean green. Where waves are both wilder and more serene. To it's ports I've been.

The atmosphere of the game actually made me feel uneasy especially at the start of the game for Alan's story since I was still getting used to it. I'm glad I tried it out definitely going to remember this game. I'll be recommending this to whoever is looking for a good survival horror game worth playing
