Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine put their friendship to the test

Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine are joining the cast for the second season of BBC America’s Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency as potential adversaries. Tudyk’s Mr. Priest is a “ruthless, dangerous, and violent bounty hunter” with a “sense of fun and adventure,” while Labine is playing Sherlock Hobbs, “an under-stimulated, but overly enthusiastic small-town sheriff.” We’ll find out the nature of their on-screen relationship when the season premieres this Saturday, but off-screen Labine and Tudyk couldn’t be tighter. We put their friendship to the test with a game we call “How Well Do You Know Your Co-Star?”

Tucker and Dale vs Evil is the most underrated and my favorite comedy movie ever made. Alan and Tyler have such great chemistry together.

I'm watching this interview in September 2022, after having spent most of the summer binge watching Voltron Legendary Defender. I get the impression Tyler was really channeling himself in his voice portrayal of Hunk. Almost like that was the character he was born to portray.
