He was such a gift to this world. I cried so much when I heard of his passing, and then I wasn't able to watch anything with him in it for at least a year. He was a piece of my childhood, and I'm honestly tearing up as I write this. And hearing him swear is glorious.

Yeah....but here’s one thing... If he didn’t play Severus Snape would the whole world be so upset about his passing?? Like, every time you mention his name people are like: “Oh, yeah..He is the one who played Snape.” And this is it... What about his other films...? I get the feeling that he is so well-known only for playing Snape... That’s sad because before Harry Potter people barely knew who he was.. Maybe I’m wrong and every actor gets his main role one day but.... It seems so unfair...

there will be no other like him...a master of his craft with the most soothing of voice. Missing him so badly...

I love him as colonel Brandon in Sense and sensibility. Such a lovely gentle character played by such a great gentle man,

I had just started my cancer journey with major surgery the day before he died (of cancer). I still remember crying in the hospital over his death and that damned disease. Miss you so much Professor ❤️🐍

Thank you so much, both of you. I just hit 5 years of remission 😊 it's a blessing that I've made it this long, my doctors say it will come back before I get to my 10 year anniversary. But I'm not scared, I'm 38 and ready to fight again. However many times it takes to keep fighting I'll do it, this life is worth it. Blessings to you both ❤️❤️

@@gladysolvera6566 I know! He was a very handsome gentleman. I told him “I hope you’re feeling better. I understand you were pretty sick”. He was just getting over a bout of pneumonia. Get this - He only missed ONE performance. He was a real trooper (I had pneumonia once and I was knocked out for about a week or longer). He said “I know” and something else that, unfortunately, I couldn’t quite hear, as he began walking away from me to sign other autographs.

Alan could have yeeted me across the room and all I would do was thank him for it. But seriously, him being the gentle, sweet soul he was, he probably felt horrible about inadvertently yeeting that girl across the room and apologized profusely. I heard Charles Dance did the same thing to Peter Dinklage every time the GoT script called for Tywin to say something horrible to Tyrion. Same with Jason Momoa, he apologized to Emilia Clarke over and over before each of their two noncon scenes in the first season.

i am so sad that i only started to notice him after his death, but still, i was to young to watch anything he played back then

This man is so humble.... 🥺..... The world was lucky for him to exist and even after so much fame he still was very humble and doesn't show off or brag about how good he is in acting. Acting or not, he was an amazing human.... I am only 12 but I wish I could have seen him in real life because I only watched Harry Potter a month ago and didn't know him until I searched the actor who played Snape because Snape is my fav character. When I realized that he died in 2016, I cried a lot because after watching a few videos of him, I realized what a great person he really is. Thank you Alan Rickman for making people understand modesty and being so kind through your lifetime. 😭💕💞💗 Please consider liking because I never get likes 🥺

He was truly amazing. I watched Harry Potter first and he was a character I kind of disliked. I then totally forgot about him until I watched Galaxy Quest. It was then that I had realized how good of an actor he was. I keep forgetting he's gone and then I read the comments and I'm like, right. We won't ever see him in another movie...
