I feel like this would work best in The End dimension... You can see a lot of darker pixels around the edges of objects, which looks a little off when contrasted with the light colored background. Having the dark backdrop of The End would work great for this! You could also have a wall of Light blocks placed JUST in front of the screen to counteract the dim lighting conditions, too.

I find this video very impressive, since even if he put every individual frame of the 14 minute video which runs at around 30-60 frames per second into a software that imports it into Minecraft, they would have had to have ENDLESS patience, since I did the math and that would sum up to be around 25200-50400 individual frames. (14x60x60=50400 or 14x60x30=25200) He then would have had to sync the audio to the animation in editing, or using a data/texture pack and commands.

Video pixels were directly translated into Minecraft. You essentially used the game's engine as a projector. While the method is impressive, you didn't do this by hand. You simply used a software to import and crop each frame of Alan's animation. The projection quality could have been improved by removing the left over black pixels. You could have also attempted to replace all sound effects with Minecraft block sounds. Though, I suspect, that would have taken considerable effort.
@Xinert3d

@@Xinert3d Good point. But Minecraft, at least the Java version, is pretty customizable. The code is robust and wide open. Plus the game is quite old and has a huge community. Also, a script to put the schematics into the game automatically lines up. A datapack to automatically copy and paste them and a script to screenshot them after the paste. My thoughts on how this was made (based off of others basically doing the same thing) A custom mod was used to paste the keyed out frames. This mod also had commands that would play every single frame at the correct speed to recreate the video with floating blocks. Nowhere close to the amount of work needed to animate and create the animation itself, but there was still effort into converting it into Minecraft.

Though, I suspect, that would have taken considerable effort.

i feel like they used ai or something, because you can literally spot random white things floating, unless this guy has bigger glasses than the nerd emoji. but even if this was ai, this is still unbelievably good!

Chroma keying Same thing as green/blue screens used to hide a color of pixels on screen. KZreadrs use this to have backgrounds appear behind them, in reality it's a full color sheet of cloth and all the color is hidden in editing
This is amazing how did you even do it???? I'm confused on that but I'm amazed at the same time

That is amazing. that is made of thousands of hours of hard work.
those who are utilizing there brain on which way he did this he basically removes the black background and made it transparent then pixeled the animation and overlap it into an minecraft image, its not even in game this is just happening on an image

So good, that I forgot it was in minecraft
the sheer dedication to make this... is quite impressive. have a like, sir!
Dude, I can't believe that this is happening in minecraft, who would have thought that the community would be able to recreate masterpieces in unimaginable things, the best example is this, since from the beginning, nobody would believe that someone would do this. Congratulations
