@@Rasaganga Same. I also got here after seeing Sadhguru's video - I came to youTube from your website actually - Would you be so kind as to post the English transliteration of the full poem in description? I think the other video with your dad has the full 13 pages...while the above has the key stanzas. The website has the poem in Kanada. I am unable to run it through a translation program since they are pictures. Last but not least, I thank you humbly for being a torchbearer for our culture.

Came as Whatsapp forward and your voice, pronunciation, story telling, explanation made me stick to the end to hear a surprising end of the story with disappointment for the lady but I equally felt ashamed for not appreciating the our culture, morale of the story and why it ended this way. Very good realization. Quickly searched internet for the source and here you go am your subscriber and a big fan!!!! thank you Navaneet Galagali for such a wonderful recite. Looking forward for many such work from you ...

The way of rendering the poem made me going back to Pandit Padharinathacharya Galagali's Era. I recalled the great voice of Galagali Acharya. In those days I never used to miss the lectures of lat Padharinathacharya, whose voice was mesmerizing and melodious. The audience present at the venue were in a pindrop silence throughout the speech of Acharya. Thanks to You for making me to recall your grandpa... Keep it up..🙏🙏

It was a random recommendation from KZread...never came across such a content, what a depth of meaning it has!!!...the story was quite interesting...never expected such an ending. This video is proof that if the content is good, then it requires no animations, pictures or bgm! The vastness of the sea behind symbolises the vast and layered meaning in these lines ...and what a rendition, crystal clear voice and pronunciation. All the more happy that youngsters like you thought of putting these verses into record. Finally, i bow with respect to Shri Pandarinathacharya Galagali.

WhatsApp forward brought me to your you tube channel only to find even more beautiful content 😊 During my childhood, whenever I went to Dharwad and passed by your grandfather’s house I was told what a scholar he was. Till I heard this video I didn’t realise how an amazing poet he was. Unfortunately I never listened to him live. Thanks to you, I could listen to his Ganga lahari lecture and just mesmerised by it. And thanks for sharing the link to its pdf too. I have become a fan of yours. Keep bringing such awesome content more often! Thank you once again!

Good God! Every word, line, verse packs a punch that could be unpacked for years - to slowly savor the sweet nectar of wisdom! The innocent woman never understood the true power of the attraction until he cut through the dense fog of her ignorance with the very knife with which he severed his vision. And what need did he have for his eyes when the name of his Lord he constantly chanted meant beyond vision? How the Lord baited her with a temptation she was all too familiar with only to switch it on a dime into something that might have otherwise taken her years to grow into! All while literally handing it to her on a platter! Oh the irony! Oh the irony! And he walked away without vyathe because he only saw with his inner eyes. So beautifully done. Lastly, the title of every poem should always be revealed in the end so as to not spoil the ending. That too was accomplished. Thank you. Will look forward to hearing and reading some more!

Your explanation,in English & your poetic presentation in kannarese/ kannada, are very touchy & deserve high appreciation.... Those with a Cultural background...will be able to Appreciate Better, more so the Philosophical angle- The Married woman expresses her Apreciation of his beautiful eyes...( She ought to have Restrained / Controlled her emotions..)... Next day...the beggar ( a Saint)...responds to her Comments ( about his beautiful eyes..).... In his begging bowl he plucks those "beautiful eyes", presents them to her--......he goes blind himself......Addresses her..." here Mother"-Yesterday You expressed about these beautiful eyes...loo have them...... & walks away ,...........,(blinding himself)... The Philosophical Twist...is here.. The Saint ( who begs for Alms).... has blinded himself...& donated his eyes- ( donating ones Eyes is considered very superior )..... ....Here there are a few Lessons.. ..1-......The beggar/ a handsome ,beautiful Saint....addresses the ,Rich Young Lady..."Mother"......( ....Once you accept Sainthood....all girls,ladies.....are your Sisters/ Mothers....).... THE SAINT LITERALLY...PRACTICES ...the Cardinal Principal of sainthood... ...He walks away....'Alak Niranjan'...enchanting/ remembering his Guruji.. .2-...There is a Lesson to the Rich Lady....do not be led away by the external beauty....it is only skin deep....Try & search within....Try & open your inner eye... & look within...."There is a More beautiful World ..to Explore"... ...Sorry-- a bit lengthy..I have tried to explain it to my best ( as I have understood it )... there could be better interpretations... The Beauty of this Poem by Guruji....& also the "Kannada" Language per se.....
