Alahuto colony in Zunheboto has been majorly affected by the landslide during the past few days. At the most, 15 households have been demolished and around 50 households yet to be affected if the rain continues. 9 affected families l have moved out from their residence. Elected town Council, Vikheshe Aye reported that the graveyard of late.Hotoshe Zhimo has also been affected by the landslide and was taken down to his native village (Ghukiye village). He further added that the Chief Minister did not even send the condolence message nor send his team for investigation and the public is disappointed. EAC Zunheboto, Mopling Phom also said that it is almost like an emergency situation since the rain will continue till October. He hopes that the Government will reach out for rescue. He further added that, at the local level, many volunteers are reaching out for assistance.
