We recorded this 4k ultra hd video during our trip to Alacati, Cesme, Turkey (Türkiye) on June 2023.
Alaçatı is a charming seaside town in the Çeşme district of İzmir Province, Turkey. It is known for its well-preserved Ottoman-era stone houses, narrow streets, and lively atmosphere. The town is also a popular windsurfing and kitesurfing destination, thanks to its strong winds and shallow waters. Historically, Alaçatı was a Greek village. It was founded in the 17th century by Ottoman Greeks who came to work in the nearby vineyards and olive farms. After the population exchange treaty between Greece and Turkey in 1923, the Greek inhabitants of Alaçatı fled to Greece, and the town was resettled by Turkish immigrants. Today, Alaçatı is a popular tourist destination for both domestic and international visitors. The town is known for its beautiful beaches, lively nightlife, and excellent cuisine. It is also home to a number of art galleries and boutiques.
Our guided walking tour is about 1.86 miles (3 km) long, starts at Hacımemiş Street and covers most attractions and historic sites of Alacati, Cesme.

I don't think I've seen other place to give me such a mixing feeling of different countries, it's like a fusion of Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria and Italy all in one. I must definitely visit it in person.

I said "That's Turkey, no" That looks Greek/Roman. I had to Google where this is, cause, it's just so beautiful. And those Bougainvillea are gorgeous. Add to bucket list

Bulgaria? Maybe it looks like Bulgaria because it was Ottoman occupied for a long time? Otherwise, I don't see it

@@FSVR54 no, the bulgur is of Turkish origin The cultures are similar to the first Bulgarians in the region, the historical cultural elements they made in the region are almost very similar in Turkey, even the cultures are the same
