Alabama is about to get a 30 for 30 in general by the time Saban leaves Alabama. I'm not disagreeing on the 30 for 30 for this though. Closest thing to golden state vs Cleveland finals although Clemson vs Alabama matchups aren't done quite yet. I want a Saban vs Meyer game soon though.

that was one of the best college NCG's of all time. Two excellent teams just going toe to toe. Clemson really ran that pick play to perfection. Scored twice off it. A lot of teams are using that, so DC's better their defenders trained up.

john kendall how many times do I have to repeat this to people?? Literally the head of NCAA officiating put out a statement deeming BOTH pick plays, not just the first, as 100% legal college football plays. And I can assure you it was reviewed countless times

This is still the best national title game in the CFP era.

Hunter Renfrow has sneakily become one of the best wide receivers in college football history. Not in terms of stats, but just clutch. If Clemson wins it all again this season, they caught lightning in a bottle with Watson and Renfrow.

One of the greatest NC games ever!

One of the best college football games I've ever had the privilege of witnessing. So hard fought by both teams. Two teams from the south hitting each other in the mouth like a backyard brawl. Congrats to Clemson on the win and the national championship. Congrats to Alabama for another great season. The national championship game between these two teams the previous year was amazing but this one takes the cake. Definitely amongst the best games ever played.

Such an exciting game. I was on the edge of my seat that night, and was so thrilled with that simple touchdown pass and catch within the last 10 seconds to avoid overtime with the Tide.

I had to work Mid shift this night and I made my way to work right after the Howard score. I remembering thinking it was over. Even though the score was manageable, Alabama had dominated this game through three quarters. I couldn’t believe what I saw when I finally got to work and they had the game on. The most intense four minutes in football for me. I had been a Clemson fan for a very long time. So many losing seasons and seasons with wasted potential, but they had a real chance this time.

Still one of the best National Championships since Texas vs USC. Loved every moment of it!

Anyone notice Christian Wilkins tackling Bo in the endzone on that first TD? Thats a big boy, 25 yards away from the line of scrimmage, chasing a running back all the way to the end. Wilkins is one of a kind man, I swear.

I admit I wasn’t even mad that Clemson won this national championship game and I’m a Crimson Tide fan. My respect for them is nothing but love.

I rewatched this video today. It’s crazy how the game winning TD was from Watson to Renfrow. Two NFL players. That Clemson team was special.

Disagree. The Bama team here is better than Clemson front to back. He is only moderately skilled, but the superman level Deshaun elevated the good guys in this one. I know you're saying that b/c of his numbers at OK, but OK has a really awesome offensive system that elevates qb's in a conference where defense is an afterthought. Look how many qb's from OK win Heisman

I get cold chills every time I watch that last play!

This was the best championship game I've ever witnessed. Truly a battle of the two best teams and an absolute thriller from start to finish.

Hunter Renfrow turned out to be a good pick for the raiders

This was a crazy game. You could tell Watson was gonna be special, and Jalen Hurts doing this as a true freshman was crazy

My Daddy was a CLEMSON alum & we were born & raised CLEMSON fans...Our blood runneth ORANGE!!! I remember sitting on the edge of my seat watching that Natty...It was a nail biter to the end for CLEMSON fans. My aunt & uncle were there (my uncle played for CLEMSON in the 60s) & they said Bama fans were already arrogantly celebrating their "win" & taunting CLEMSON fans, even before the clock had run down. Well, THAT certainly changed as soon as Renfrow caught that beautiful pass from Watson in the last few seconds. My aunt & uncle said the Bama fans around them just looked around in shock & embarassment, like they couldn't believe the "mighty Alabama" got beat. The atmosphere then had a complete turnaround. I know my Daddy was cheering on his Tigers from Heaven. I wish he was still here to see his Tigers he loved so much win another Natty. 🥰🧡💜🧡

As a Georgia fan, I love watching these types of highlights where Bama gets beat. Hopefully we can get them next year!

Not true. He was a legend after the previous NC game. He played his ass off, even if the end result was a loss. This game moved him from legend to god level

Three bad things for me with this game (Clemson Fan here since birth). 1) I was by myself in Idaho watching it. 2) I was on the phone with my Dad on the lasr drive and he had a delay so I had to keep my emotions in check. 3) Clemson won amd I had noone to celebrate with. Made up for it the next Championship Game they won. My family and I were there.

I Clemson ran 99 offensive plays lol, if you don’t win with that something wrong, on top of that no Scarborough suffered a broken leg during the first half, that game would’ve been over because he had two td’s before that happened.

As a Bama fan I have said this about our three NC games with Clemson. First game we won in a close game and was good. Second game was a close game down to the wire that Clemson won....dissapointed but could live with it Third game Bama played absolutely horrendous and was embarrassed.

alot of people want to blame hurts this year but look how he played in this game. i think we just don't have the receiving core we use to have we have ridley and that's it.
