Man Barry reignited my love for bmx racing. I hadnt been on a track in 15 years. Last weekend was my 1st race, a state race. I made the main and got 5th.

Sick edit for sure! Congrats bro! I’ve been out of the BMX race game almost 20 years now, but I bought bikes for myself and my 6 year old son recently and we’re learning and training together!

I grew up in Wetumpka! My family and I left in ‘86 when I was 9. I still call that place home. Big ups my bro. Win it all this year

this was awesome to watch. when they showed the back in the day footage. that took me back to a place in my heart that I will always remember as something positive I had growing up. there was never any pressure, I guess there really isn't any pressure nowadays but just the stuff I put onto myself.

Honestly, the dude is a loving family man, a dedicated athlete and a m’f’n bmx legend… I’m a freestyle guy, I still love watching this dude race. I have a 350 my 4 year old rides and I am looking at upgrading the motor to a 24v 500w so he has more torque. I found one on Amazon that looks like a plug and play but I am assuming I am going to need to upgrade the controller as well? If so, any recommendations on a controller that will work with new 24v 500w motor and still connect to the original charging port? If it allows the upgrade to the variable throttle that’s a plus.
