Alabama Fertility Laws

This week the world was shook by the surprise ruling of the Alabama Supreme Court, declaring that embryos created through in vitro fertilization (IVF) should be considered children. When creating embryos, the patients are aware of the possibility that they may be destroyed and unable to be successfully transferred. However, with this new ruling legal consequences could come with unsuccessful transfers.
Colton and Jordan sit down with Fertility Lawyer Richard Vaughn to discuss the effects that this ruling has on not only Alabama but how it also trickles down to the rest of the US.
This episode was produced by Avery Siegel, shot by Eleanor Matthews, and edited by Brit Scott. Original theme song by Jon the Dad.

Colton, as a woman, my sisters, nieces and i have less rights than our mother and grandmother did... With Alabama's ruling, its not understood, especially when the Politicians involved with this ruling are not Trained Practicing Physicians and any Physician would say that Embryos are Cells, not a human with a Functioning 4-Chamber Heart and other Organs... And Tommy Tuberville has no idea... No clue, especially when he doesn't even live in Alabama, he lives in Floriduh(and i say this sarcastically) .

I fear for all families who are trying to hold out all hope in having a family and Politicians are Policing our bodies and bedrooms and doctors offices and this is Political Trip to hold onto power and they've managed to undo any protections we have, both men and women...
