Ala- Archa National Park is 35 km from Bishkek.
Time to reach: 1 hour
How to get: You can take taxi (Yandex taxi is famous) or you can book a tour before going to Ala-Archa National Park. If you like trekking is better to take a guide.
What to take before to go:
1) Take proper shoes.
2) Clothes should be also comfortable
3) Sunglasses and sun cream is important
4) If you do trekking (take trekking equipment with yourself)
5) As I said better to take food and water from the city.
Weather: Sometimes (in autumn and spring) in Bishkek can be raining however in Ala-Archa National Park can be snowing. Always check the weather before going.
Trekking:
There are different destination if you go to trekking
Famous is: Waterfall and Racek hut
1) Waterfall
You can do trekking till the waterfall
Time of trekking: 2.2 hours one way
Distance: 4 km
Start point: 2200 m. over see level
End point: 2665 m. over see level
2) Racek hut
Time of trekking: 4.5 hour one way
Distance: 6.4 km
Start point: 2200 m. over see level
Endpoint: 3300 m. over see level
Overnight in Ala-Archa National Park
If you do trekking to Racek hut, there is a possibility to overnight in Racek hut. However, it is cold there and please take a sleeping bag or there is also a possibility to come with a tent and put it near Racek hut.
If you do not trek, there is the possibility to overnight in a house that you saw in the video. However, I heard only bad reviews about this hotel and do not recommend to stop there.
There is an amazing trip that you will have in Ala-Archa National Park.
