But when I did I couldn't see any colour change in water .no starch found in the water. But the rice cooked so much for 3 vissiles

This only removes the Kanchi partially. Otherwise this is a regular cooker. The other cooker is more efficient than this. Name of the cooker is Straino which removes Kanchi from bottom of pan. More efficient.

Rice grain generally donot stick to the vessel if rice is cooked by draining water.

Thanks for sharing. I'm having this starch strainer. Had doubts using it. Can u please demo how to remove the pressure immediately after switching off the gas? It's generally not a good practice for long term use of any cooker, right? Please clarify. Thanks.
