You can tell Pat was genuinely touched that Al Michaels, a man Pat watched and listened to for football games and sporting events his entire life, not only said he loved the show but took the effort to show how big of a fan he is by wearing a tank top and bringing out the cigar. Forget the bag. That was the most wholesome moment in the history of the show. So awesome to watch.

I spent the day driving Al Michaels brother on a wine tour in California once. He could have sat in the back of the limousine with everyone else, but he sat up front with me, and what a great guy. I asked him what he did, and he said, “I create ‘vapor ware.” He explained that’s just what producing & creating stuff for TV was. Make it, display it, “POOF” it’s gone lol. A really great guy, and I enjoyed him very much. Over the years, I’ve led over 2,500 wine tours, and driven more famous people than I care to say. But I’ll never forget that guy. Seems like a solid family.

Love Al Michaels. Bay Area Legend. His legendary calls especially during the 1989 earthquake at the World Series between the A’s and Giants.

I've listened to Al since the early days, great play call, one of the best ever, me and my dad RIP, watching the Patriots since 1965, back then the pats were so so, my dad died right before we got Brady and the winning started . Dad would've loved it.

18:35, Mr. Michaels echoes the same sentiment about the media that Denzel Washington did years ago. The need to be first no matter what. Two truly wise men.

I'm from Hawaii And I remember Al Michael's doing baseball radio for the islanders What a great time in Honolulu in those days. I remember Al saying with a tear in his eyes that this isn't going to last looking at all the construction cranes in the background. He is an outstanding baseball play by play man
