Al Horford on HUGE BOUNCE BACK Game | Celtics vs Cavs G5 Postgame Interview

Спорт

BOSTON -- The Boston Celtics secured a 113-98 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night, clinching their spot in the Eastern Conference finals for the third consecutive season.
Al Horford played a pivotal role, contributing 22 points, 15 rebounds, and six of Boston's 19 three-pointers, leading the Celtics to their third straight win in the series and a 4-1 overall victory. The Celtics now await the winner of the series between the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers, with New York currently leading 3-2.
"I knew it was gonna take a lot more than just playing a normal game," Horford said postgame.

I was so impressed by his defense on Garland. Garland is like a baby Kyrie. Super shifty with crazy handles. Al stayed down, got low, moved his feet and knew exactly when to get tall but not jump. He rivals Jrue on D. Al is just amazing.

Fax! Also have to remember that prior to him arriving, no All Star free agents were signing with Boston. In 2016 when he signed, he was often said in a lot of media to be our biggest FA signing. After that IT & Al team really took us back to contention, we've been in contention since and the Celtics are once again in that elite tier. We owe Al a lot!

No matter who the Celtics play whether it be the Knicks or the Pacers and then should they win that matchup whoever they play in the finals I know this… If they stay with the iso, one on one with four teammates, standing in four different corners of the front court, they WILL NOT win the championship…Boston needs to attack the basket and NOT RELY on the 3 pt. shots…get some foul shots( and make them, not 1 of 2).. then they have a very good chance of hanging another banner…but the way they have been playing is not gonna do it …go Celtics!and CUT DOWN ON SENSELESS TURNOVERS!
