WOW you broke this down so eloquently & didn’t leave a SINGLE stone unturned regarding the comparison of Rogue and the Ruby edition. Funny enough, I tried getting the Ruby edition some months back (just because it was “newer”) and mistakenly purchased Rogue & I have zero regrets whatsoever especially after watching this video. Thank you Glam for always being honest. There’s a lot of other fragrance reviewers but no one does it like you ❤️.

i got this in today, i also had bought the real extrait as a gift for someone. i remembered the extrait being more feminine but i still liked it, but when i smelled ruby i thought it was fairly masculine. then i smelled the actual extrait and thought the same, more masculine then i remembered. to me the clone is dead on.

I'm loving Prada sport with a spray of Cosmair Polo green. The compliments are strong with this combo. The way the polo brings out the juniper berries with that vanilla/tonka vibe smooths out the classic scent of original polo and is actually addictive. Watching your Perri ellis unpredictable extreme vid made me try the sport cuz I already loved Carbon. 😍

@@GlamFinds I Bought one off mercari. 5.1 oz 85% full that dates to the launch. For 85 bucks. Great price for it I thought and now I'm trying to find a 3.4 oz to actually use. 😆 I don't want to use the whole bottle on the 5.1 oz original batch.

i actually ordered this today, i usually wear literally 80s stuff half the time lol. but theres just something i dig about the br540 extrait and it gets a ton of attention. doesnt hurt to at least have one just for compliments in the collection haha. i also have a bottle of eau sauvage parfum coming 🤷‍♂

I am going for the Ruby edition !

Rouge Edition and Red Temptation from Zara are two of the best clone BR540 to me. I heard Franck Olivier Addiction did it better but I’ve never smelled that one.

We picked up on the same differences! They are definitely different! I made the mistake of getting Ruby after hearing that it smells the exact same. Someone told me Ruby smelled like embalming fluid when I wore it 😂😩. That was not their reaction when I wore Rouge🫣.

I originally bought this in the 3.3 size for my someone in Colombia but it smelled so good that may have worn it more than she did ha ha. I got back home about three days and I found the 4.0 tester for $44 I grabbed. Now I am wondering do I still want the Armaf Untold when it gets back in stock. Any thoughts

How is Ruby vs Armaf Untold? For man.

I've got one last black Friday, blind buying followed glorifying reviews wanking over it, how great it is 😂. It's my second blind buy none of them impressed me at all. Ruby is okay, but absolutely No WoW factor! £100 for 100ml its the price mark we'd expect a bit more fun 🙄😁 Thanks for your honest review ❤👍🏻

I honestly prefer Rouge. To date, my favorite from the Amber Oud collection is Carbon.

I have rouge already and didn't see the point in getting this one as everyone said they are so close. Another weird choice they made is they have gold edition and a new gold edition extreme, which people are saying is very similar to gold. I have no idea why they would make super similar fragrances?

Everyone always tells me I smell amazing, like cotton candy, when I wear Rouge...which seems weird to me because I don't find it quite that sweet. I'll be so mad if they discontinue Rouge!

Rouge and Ruby are the extrait, Rouge is just better honestly but discontinued (of course)

I love the rouge one (3 bottles) so I ordered the ruby when I found it. I thought it was the same but nope. The ruby is less sweet and the saffron is so strong on me. I feel sad cause i purchased two bottles ugh

No oud, totally unisex, but I'd say Rouge is more femme then this

It's a great spring night, Fall/ winter cologne. Do not wear this to work. This is for going out to the club, Cigar lounge, Bar or a party.

@tracisetter2164 I'm downsizing my collection drastically and Untold and what's left of Rouge are both keepers for me. Ruby is fine but it didn't make the cut.

amber oud ruby so far far away from OG baccarat ext, I am very confused why Joy Amin and others at Fragrantica say they are similar, this is only 60-70% similar, the amber oud ruby ​​smells not luxurious, it smells cheap. I didn't feel confident wearing it, I bought the 100ml version and gave it to a friend for free, better bussma by arabian oud so far2 away.

I bought br540 extrait $499 first and it is weak as hell to me.... bought ruby for $70 which is must stronger, and I'm pissed!! 😡😡😡😡

I think it’s ambroxin and not ambergris because real ambergris is super expensive and usually only in high end designer houses. Creed Erolfa is a good example of a super Ambergris forward fragrance.

@@GlamFinds Yeah I was thinking about getting it but I have the regular BR540 and the Armaf clone and I only use them for layering because to my nose it’s feminine. I layer it with Aventus or one of the four dupes I have of Aventus that are better than Aventus lol.

@@GlamFinds yeah it’s spot on in the air. If you smell your skin up close you can tell the difference. I just recently got Tomcat in from Alexandria fragrances, and it’s a great clone of YSL Babycat which is impossible to find, I bought a 15ml decant of it. Also Jean Lowe Immortal which is a great clone of Louis Vuitton L’Immensite, and Secret Lagoon by Oakcha, a beast mode 1:1 clone of weak ass new batches of Creed Virgin Island Water. All three of those combined were under $100, and I have decants of the real ones and they are either better or just as good. I would have never wasted money on BR540 if that Armaf clone dropped a few years ago before I bought BR540. Hey by the way MFK is raising their prices on August 1, so if you want on grab it soon. Thanks for responding you’re a great reviewer.

Bought it, tried it. Smells exactly like BR 540 Extrait. 4 sprays and no joke: it lasted on my skin for 36 hours. I tried washing it off my wrists and even showered and it only went away when it decided to. It became cloying, really loud and a bit too much for my senses. It made me sad to return but I had to. I just couldn’t wear it. Btw, it also smells like Mancera Instant Crush

@@musicjunkie5501 This thing lasted 36 hours on my skin and lasted for days in my bedroom. It was projecting off my skin about maybe 12 hours (maybe more…I lost track) but it stayed on it for the whole 36. Maybe you went nose blind to it. I speak from my experience and it did what I said it did.

Totally disagree. Blow ones nose bla bla bla. Maybe it's something in her skin, many are still gonna complain they don't get much out of two three sprays. I love it but need a good bunch post shower, and pick me ups. Nothing that potent about it
