    Bhai Irfan, why do you need MSG in pulao..? please be a bit rational with the authenticity of recipe…. Promote the sponsor company’s products but don’t compromise with the authenticity of recipe… not a good approach towards cooking as a Chef… I know you are a good chef…

    Salam, good to hear from you. If you talk about commercial biryani and pulao, Chinese salt is a compulsory ingredient for them and as you know the Chinese salt is banned in Pakistan due to Halal issue and not good for health. I used the replacement of Chinese salt that is halal and fit for human use. As far as authenticity is concerned, MSG is the key ingredient of every commercial recipe of Biryani and Pulao across Pakistan. JazakAllah.
