Childhood favourite. My late dad would play this . I loved this tune so much so , that when I was old enough to operate the gram myself , I would play it until my hearts content . I still enjoy this tune to the present day, as it brings back so many joyful memories of my dad who introduced me to the love of reggae from a young age . R.I.P. Pops . You earned your wings and my love for you is eternal.

Brings back a long walk across Clarendon to Frankfield late at night back in the early Seventies and hearing this floating across the night sky. Magical.

LOL! Exactly! Although it seems slower, I feel this beats the UB40 cover, by soul alone! Diggin’ the harmonica, toward the end😉
Mouth organ is probably melodica played by Augustus Pablo

Sounds like a harmonica to me, doubt that the great Augustus P would have lowered himself to play on this.. That said, this is a great version of the Al Green classic and still one of my all time top tunes.. Saw Al Brown sing this live in Hyde park London 1974
