IN THIS EPISODE WE VISIT THE JEWISH QUATER OF THE OLD CITY OF JERUSALEM AND THE DAVIDSON ARCHEOLOGICAL PARK SOUTH OF THE TEMPLE MOUNT. SEE THE ANCIENT STONES FROM THE 1 CENTURY.
Davidson Center, the Jerusalem Archaeological Park, is located nearby the Western Wall in the Old City. Davidson Center is one of the Jerusalem’s top tourist attractions due to its historical and archeological significance and, of course, its beauty. You will find archaeological finds and displays from the First& Second Temple periods: the ancient city wall, the Temple’s staircase, a preserved ancient street, ritual immersion baths, and stores.

@@kirkkirkland7244 Torah says the Temple was built on Mount Moriah. And there, indeed, is where Temple Mount is. The dimensions are also consistent with Torah. The City of David is basically across the street and a little downhill in a small valley outside the Old City. It appears there was a palace and homes there. It’s currently under excavation and there are videos of findings as they are discovered. When I was last there, in 2016, it was covered by a parking lot!

You can find graffiti and a lot of trash on the arab side of the city, and right at the the entrance of the Lion's Gate as one's is coming from the Mount of Olives, what you see is trash everywhere left there on purpose by the arabs, they trough garbage to the ground. The Jewish and Christian neighborhoods, inside and outside the city walls, are very clean and ordely, but you go to the arab neighborhoods inside and out of the walls, and you gonna think that you are not in the same geographical place, it's chaotic and dirty. But don't take my word for, just look at some videos you can find on youTube.

Thank you for another great adventure, feel as though I am walking with you. I agree, David's City far too small to have held the temple and biblically, God spoke to His most beloved folk at the top of various mountains throughout scripture. Another fact is David's tomb is facing the temple, so even in death, he was still looking to God. Can not wait for your next adventure!

I have been privileged to visit Israel twice, in 1980 and again in 2015. The southern steps were only visible from a distance on the earlier visit. Our 2015 guide told us he had guided Neil Armstrong, who said climbing the southern steps was a more profound experience for him than walking on the moon. You did not mention that metal fenced enclosure under Robinson's arch. In 2015 our tour group went into the tunnel in the City of David and hiked the ancient walkway up to the Temple, coming back above ground inside that fence.

Thanks for showing us the Jaffa Gate the old city, and explaining about the building wall constructors graves. This is a blessing to witness. The view of the Mount of Olive's! All the way through to the very ending I have been blessed by this. The Palm 🌴 tree's at the finale of the tour made me feel really blessed, to see them right there on the way from the Mount of Olive's, to the temple entrance! Maranatha

As a young man (23 years old), I visited Jerusalem in June 1982. I spent a week in the Armenean sector with a woman who had opened her house to young people for a few dollars per night. She was a widow, whose husband had been the Armenean ambassador to the U. N. It was an amazing and tumultuous time to visit Israel. But I found many in Israel to be warm and hospitable. This video brings back some wonderful memories. Thank you for sharing from Southern Michigan. Shalom.

Amazing video! Thanks for sharing your expertise with us. It was nice seeing some of the places where my family and I recently walked, e.g. at the 10:26 mark. My family and I had a late night snack in the Jaffa area last week - we had four chicken shawermas for close to £100 at the place next to the Christian Information Center. Let me tell you, we'll never forget those chicken shawermas!

This is the very best tour of Old Jerusalem, and the Jewish quarter, That I have ever seen. Very nicely done Sir. Your camera work is grand. The thing that you said about the biggest stones at the city walls, the temple mount and at other places through out the old city being later is in error , what you meant to say was that the biggest stones are the earliest/oldest and were cut and moved by the Nephilim giants, before hundreds of years before King David's time. Thank you for the wonderful work and words you are doing. No worries about not being able to report and give the grand tours. In these times I know how difficult it is, the archaeologists are looking for factual evidence that proves the Temple Mount belongs to Israel. The rebuilding of the temple is important but the facts remain that it will be destroyed again and it is going to be replaced for the final time.
