It is difficult to give the correct translation. But it is about Akuebube, who is an orphan and poor and who was hated by everybody for no reason. So Akuabube was asking, ''Why did everybody hate him? Is he the first person who has no father, mother, brother, or kindred? Is it because he is poor? But poor people have always been part of society from time immemorial. So many words of wisdom come with the song, but it is difficult to give the correct interpretation. Akuebube later became their king. The last sentence Mike Ajeagha made at the end of the song is ''don't despise a person because of his or her present condition''

You try but as you said it's difficult to interpret. But same time not that people hate him, but akuebube is proud person that the whole village believed that he would be a successful person through hunting, but at a point while he was hunting he fell down from tree and that was how his pride fell off. Going forward his elder brother who is taking care of his blindness died along the line and his situation became more critical. He went to market to buy fowl and started shouting that he has gotten this fowl for himself so that people will not suspect that he is stealing people fowl, the story is to long though but akuebube as a blind man letter became thief that steal people fowl and also engage in stealing his elder brother's snuff that letter exposed his evil doing @@nenitafrica6851
