Hey Toronto Tonfo, thanks for another kind comment. No kidding. We are so wanting to make it back in early 2021. Fingers crossed for a vaccine which at this point, I'm thinking is the only way Governments are going to allow global travel to resume.

I’ve been to Akumal for 3 months out of the year every year since I was 3 I’m 19 now the area has grown so much and I love Carlos known him my whole life his margaritas are the best

Thank you for the great Video, just Subscribed and Thumbs up. Just returned from Akumal Village and the area, only spent the day and did get to have a few Coronas at the LOL-HA and fajitas, along with guacamole and chips, but want to return again after seeing all the places we missed but just not enough time. Was a beautiful 7 days at Bahia Principe Luxury Resort in Akumal.

The avocado fries at La Taverna are the best!

Lunita is one of my favorite restaurants, the food is outstanding,

La Cueva del Pesacdor ! The waiters are definitely friendly 😁. I lived in Akumal many moons ago. Akumal has changed but not Ruth people 🌺👍🏽

Went here on a golf buggy once. We hired it in Akumal itself...incredible place. Other place we eat was Lol ha restaurant on the beach at night.

Great video guys a question what is the cost for groceries there I saw you in the market they sold wine milk etc just curious...we would love to spend a winter in that area but have yet to get to a grocery store in the area?..so nice to see your Mom along!! lovely family you have!!..stay safe from one Canadian to another!!..Viv

Hey Darrell. Thanks for the kind words. We would love to spend a winter in that area at some point. The grocery stores are actually great. If you're thinking that things are a lot less expensive there, not so much. Depends on what you're looking for. Definitely no bargains on wine but tequila is super cheap. Produce and seafood also tend to be less than what you're accustomed to. We typically go to the Chedraui. They are very nice and you can fine anything there. Food, Clothing, Alcohol, pharmaceuticals.... If we see a small produce market, we like to show our support to the small independants as well. @@TheDrunkenTourist I think I prefer keeping things free and easy like you, but I do have to admit that I love a cruise or an all inclusive as well. I wouldn't want to commit to only one type of vacation. I will say that the all inclusives and cruises make it easier to budget, whereas, out on the town, it can get out of control before you know it.

Hey Matt, Absolutely. In fact the kids would love it here. I would suggest that you conduct yourselves and the oversight of your kids, the same as you would at home and you'll be fine.
