It's rather unfortunate.

When I was a young boy in the early 1980s, I once saw the inscription on the television, "Kill Akatapore," during one of the independence day celebrations at the Independence Square in Accra. I'm happy that he was not killed as the inscription suggested. I wish you long life, Mr Akatapore.

Don't know if i should wait for the second part. My initial comments are just not pleasant. The interviewer gave him a lot of side rumps to get down from his high horse, and that was very kind of him. He never took the bait, or he did not know that he was now a dinosaur . I wait for the second part to finalize my comments, something they never gave to others

This rhetoric that Akatapore is peddling doesn't seem to align with Adebuga's account of why they had to overthrow Liman. Adebugah claimed there was a rift within the Limann administration and this was the plan - to overthrow Liman and re-instate him. Unless of course, they were both sold different stories. That said, Rawlings never hated Nkrumah.
