I think the dialogue at 4:00 really shows how naive and childish Riliane is. She's only 14, she's just a kid, and having been spoiled her entire life her mental age is even younger. Look how excited she gets when Allen says "we'll surely surprise them". Even now, when she knows things are actually serious and their lives are on the line, she treats it like a game or a funny prank. It fits the character perfectly.

i am LOSING it at "no... i was the one that..." because HE KNEW!! in the book neither of them find out, only clarith knows, and the interpretation that he KNEW and REALIZED and THATS why he feels that its his duty to die for riliane's sins is SO SAD omf... (in twiright prank, when allen shared his snack with the demon and it tells him about the bottle thing, you would think that its to show how allen was nice enough to please the demon and not get eaten whereas riliane was eaten, hence shes evil, BUT you actually find out in dauther of evil: wiegenlied of green that that isn't what happened; the demon told allen the bottle thing to trick him, because when you write a wish in a bottle and throw it into the sea, it grants your wish, but in return you also make a contract with a demon. so he was the one that contracted with a demon, but since his wish wasn't for himself, it was for riliane, he got riliane possessed by the demon of pride instead of him, so just because he wanted riliane to be happy, he made her evil and alone) his realization in this is just so amazingly acted and its literally one line but MAN the EMOTION

I prefer this scene in musical than the novel, cus at least she still remembers that Allen is actually her twin brother Alexiel. In the novel, because she was possessed by the demon of pride, she got recovered by Elluka but got her portion of memory (including her memory of Allen being her brother) erased in the process. This is by far the most heartwrenching moment from seven deadly sins series in my opinion, the second being Margarita's death in the novel.

uh,... there's a few mistakes with the translations in this... 0:23. she says " have you come to kill me? you servant." 0:30: " but you know... if it was by you, I wouldn't mind being killed." 0:46 " it seems I was possessed by a demon. 1:22 " I know you already realize it right? " 1:34 :" I resented you. many times. why are our status's so different? why are our paths so different? what determined our fate? If I were to be in your status, as I was supposed to be ruling this country. I was the one that was supposed to be you." 1:53 :" Its not to late to start now." 1:58 " this time it is my turn to rule over you." 2:48 "If you don't go, I will kill you." 3:17 "or else the rage of the citizens will not be quelled" etc. there's more. but I don't feel like fixing it all. just saying this video needs an update.

Now that I have the gist of what was said, I find it messed up that Rin seemed to happily agree to switch places all because Len brought up being reborn... like, even if that were real.. being reborn doesn’t happen instantly like a Digimon. :/ I just dislike how this play Depicts Rillane valuing Allen’s existence to almost nothing.. I mean I know she has an image to keep up but the horse gets better treatment than Allen here! Idk... I just personally think the play made her alittle *too* evil towards her sibling. Compared to the original Vocaloid songs I’ve seen.. and even at the end she doesn’t seem to act any better since Haku tried to kill her.. which was never supposed to happen. And that final “now bow to me!” Kinda takes away all the character growth that Len was supposed to contribute on... but that’s just my take on the play.

The play relies heavily on the novel. Yes, Riliane regrets sacrificing Allen but remember that during the war, the demon is still possessing Riliane. Conchita's demon made her prideful(thus her sin) swhy she little to never show any improvement. Also remember that Riliane is just 14 years old that time, still too young to understand everything and take herself away from the prideful princess she is. It was when she became a nun that she realised everything and regret heavily that's why she was saved and went to the heavenly yard. The PVs and songs are just the tip on the iceberg tho lol.

Well yeah I know she regrets everything later on, it just seemed like she agreed to Allen’s plan alittle too easily instead of putting up resistance like other PVs suggest.. and she didn’t seem as regretful even after he died. Also that part with Haku, I thought she backed out of killing Rin after seeing Len’s ghost? It’s weird because since she actually went through with her attemptive murder, it seemingly made Rillane revert back to her old ways after fighting off Haku.. those parts alone seemed really strange and going backwards on character development for me.

I kinda agree 😭😭 I was hoping Allen pulls out a cloak, and the lights will have a seconds black out. And then he sings "And now I am the princess, and you are the fugative" while Rilliane is wearing the cloak

This scene was BUTCHERED. The manga is so much better than this. Allen is very aggressive and frankly rude to Riliane in this, when he was nothing but kind and selfless in this scene in the manga. Making her feel guilty and acknowledging her evil is not something in the original. This is fine and all but he literally was just like "I love you and I don't want you to die." not to mention Riliane didn't even KNOW they were twins up until this moment in the manga. He admitted they were twins, expressed how much he loved and cared for her, and sent her on her way. He's like shouting and making her think about all the awful things she did and that bit about him thinking he deserves to be royalty? Completely out of character. He never expressed a desire to be royal in the original... Allen also literally has to trick her into swapping clothes and locks her in her own bedroom and reveals his plan THROUGH the locked door, to which she protests and sobs and bangs on the door.

@@nantae1047 there’s a fanmade one, Aku no Meshitsukai manga. Just remember the manga is completely different from the original plot. The official manga is the Aku no Musume series. You can see the art in the manga is the same style of illustrations of the whole bigger series of Story of Evil. Also there’re novels if you like

"the closure of yellow" is the official novel of servant of evil and daughter of evil. it has a novel, and a full novel series called "evillious chronicles" which contains the entire lore of the song series. so no, they didn't make a musical out of two songs, but out of an official novel written to explain the story of those two songs further. hope this helps!
