Hi Kim I’m staying at Akti for a week beginning of September and will be travelling alone, is the hotel more for couples or should I not worry about that ?

We ordered a twin room and got a double..when i complained they said they cant get guarantee a twin! Not good!

Just been to Akti Imperial for a week, was absolutely brilliant and I agree with everything you said!! The place runs like clockwork and the staff put a lot of effort into every detail. Only problem is I’ve put half a stone on from the buffet haha

Hahaa Akti is the best! I think the only reason I didn't put any weight on was because we walked around the old town and explored the island so much, but the hotel is o nice you could literally go there for a week and not leave! I'm so happy you enjoyed! You thinking about going back again in the future?

Awkwardly Kim yeah I’d definitely go again, only thing I didn’t like about the island was the lack of recycling (hotel too, everyone drinks from cardboard cups and puts them in the bin!) and amount of rubbish lying around further inland.

Just returned from this hotel. We have a 3 year and we found that this wasn’t the best place for us. Food is very basic and we did all 4 themed restaurants. Staff do work extremely hard to be honest. Maybe it’s the COVID thing but it didn’t seem like they could keep up with demand... pretty basic rooms, some of the staff were unprofessional.. as in making you feel rushed when getting food/drink. We were limited to 2 drinks at the bars at any time. So therefore meant I had to rejoin the line to get 3 of us a drink. The entertainment was average at best. Literally the same shows every night. We won’t be returning, we live Greece but this hotel just didn’t do it for us. Also just a foot note if you do go to the beach then wear some shoes as it’s very stoney.

Heyyy how were the bathrooms? Are they outdated? Lovely video!

No the bathrooms are lovely. In this video it shows the suites, but the bathrooms in the normal rooms are lovely too. You get a walk in shower/ wet room not a bath, but the bathroom door is frosted

I'm going here this Saturday I cant wait! Just a quick question - are the cocktails included or would you have to pay for them? :)

@@babbiiangell today its raining and we had a big thunder storm this morning. For the past 2 weeks it's been beautiful though, but I've needed a light cover for the evenings. It's cooler today.

I've been in May and October and have always gotten a sunbed. There are sunbeds by the pool and on the beach. The last time I went (October 2021) it was very busy, but every other time its been not too bad

No sunbeds tricky to get as people go down early anf put towels on them

It was busy. Main pool you struggle to get sunbed...quieter pool a bit easier...not enough sun beds for the number of people

Oh lucky! It's amazing! I have a few videos out about what to do on the island whilst you're there. If you are looking for tours around the island as well I'd recommend going to visit the Manosgoing office, about 3 minutes walk from the hotel :D
