Because they are giving him respect by not pitying on him. They are all using the language that they are comfortable in with pride. That's the idea. And even Rajeev is giving everyone respect by talking to each in the language they are comfortable in. That's why he switches to Hindi while posing a question to Diljit.

Nishchay Pahwa Why not conduct the interview in Hindi? It is apparent that not just Diljit but the rest are also fluent in Hindi including Rajeev. It is not the matter of showing any kind of pity or sympathy. It is more about empathy.

@@dhaneshshirodkar365 again brother, he kept the interview open to any language, that's why he was almost talking in 'Hinglish'. The interviewees were free to answer in any language they want to. I think it's essential for people to get over the embarrassment they feel talking in their native language. Akshay switched to Hindi after a while when he realized that fact. Kareena was comfortable in English so she kept going like that. It's a personal choice. Rajeev did his part by speaking English and Hindi both to tell everyone that it's okay to do so.

Brother he knows english well. He vist England Canada and even Europe every now and then. It's very hard to get why you speak English in your own country where most people are happy with hindi. Does gora people speak hindi when you come to India.

Coz the channel in pan India and its an English Channel. So viewers who don't understand Punjabi and hindi will not watch it, So ppl talk in English and its the general mode of communication and easiest.

To be honest, I think kareena doesn't get enough respect as an actress( True acting ability). She is one of the most entertaining yet talented actress in the industry. She doesn't usually feature in one women film but she does this commercial acting better than everyone.

This is great. I think this is one of the best Hindi comedies of all time. It pits western style smart couple smugness against fierce brutally honest emotional reaction to even a faint whimper of disrespect. New evolved more material India attitudes are brought up short and all out Punjabi emotions win the day. But it's done in a funny loving way. It is the perfect cast and such a perfect ensemble who shine by themselves but generously leave room for the others to shine as well. Akshay, once again, is an incredible gentleman. Also it seems a really great script goes a long way towards an incredible film being made. Also it is so masala almost inherently heartfelt and moving yet incredibly funny. Only people who are too cinematically academic towards the films they watch might find some little blemish or tiny pimple that they claim, kept them from completely enjoying this film.
