Enjoyed the answers. But some of the questions, or the manner of asking the questions was not pleasant. But this is a problem, with many podcasters. Many many podcasters are not learning to be good listeners, and process the answer, and THEN ask the next question. They are thinking of what to ask to make podcast a hit....not processing the answer, then thinking, then asking a question. I read Akshat's book. Not the best, because I am an avid reader. But he is a good story teller, because his story is good. His presentation will keep getting better! Because gold is gold.

Caste discrimination is rooted not in religion but culture. Caste was an ancient system of occupational class delineated in Hindu texts that over the years developed into a rigid social hierarchy. Caste discrimination never happened when Indians were in power. It only happened under Islam and Christians and they are still trying to make it a part of Hindu way of life. There are no castes in Hindutva or Sanatanis. We had varnas which is equal to “class hierarchy” which even exists today. Everyone looked down upon everyone of they had power but we had possibilities of “American Dream” before America existed.
