I was in Senegal 2021 and I asked a top military guy why the Akon city wasn't constructed and he said; "Senegal will not have that city build here. Akon is a musician and he'll bring all his gays and lesbians here. We are a Muslim country and we'll not destroy our values. So at that point I understand Akon was fighting a losing battle. This country has a 1% crime rate, strong families, and culture. They are not going to allow people to come In destroy their peace. This is the unfortunate reality of African business. The person means well BUT when things are done on too large a scale things can easily go wrong. I would not call it a scam. I have lost money on African investments before. The issue is that the person who has the dream cannot handle it. The key is keep things small.

I was living in Shanghai when this guy started talking about bringing power to the entire continent of Africa. I did some research and found that he was simply the frontman for the Chinese. When I heard about this Akon City, I posted that it was a scam. Then Acoin, another scam. I hope people will open their eyes and stop falling for the nonsense. I always laugh at the normal population who have no idea what’s going on on the inside of a fenced in construction/development project. The trouble is, when are we as a people going to stop listening to what a person says, and go by what a person does? There is nothing wrong in having big dreams, because this world was built on someone having a dream. Akon, "Mr. Conman?" Where have you been? Akon has always been a scamball all his life, and he sadly refuses to repent. Once he started promoting Africa's socalled "richest" man Aliko Dangote alongside his Akon City dream projects, I wrote that had already failed.

I believe Akon is a scam artist- especially after he made those greasy comments about Black Americans and Black culture when he used that very culture to become relevant! He sure didn't become significant using his failed country of Senegal
