బర్ద్వాజ్ గారూ ఏఎన్ఆర్ గారిది పేద కుటుంబం కాదు...5 గురు అన్నదమ్ములు 25 ఏకరాల భూమి..పాడి పశువులు వున్న గొప్ప కుటుంబం వారిది..రామాపురం లో 5 వరకే ఎలిమెంటరీ పాటశాల వుంది..6 th క్లాస్ కి వెళ్ళాలి అంటే 10 km నడిచి గుడివాడ స్కూల్ కి వెళ్ళాలి. ఏఎన్ఆర్ గారి వాఠాకు వచ్చే 5 ఏకరాల భూమి చదివించే బదులు చదువు ఆపేస్తే ఆ భూమి అయినా ఆయనకు మిగులుతుంది అనే ఆలోచన వారి తల్లి పున్నమ్మ గారికి వచ్చి ఎలాగూ నాటకాలు వైపు వెళుతున్నాడు అని ప్రోతహించింది ఆమె.. ఆ నాటకాల వలనే సినిమా ఛాన్స్ ఏఎన్ఆర్ గారికి తగిలింది. ఒక రకం గా NTR గారి కుటుంబం పేద కుటుంబం.. Neither of them are great considering entirety of their movie careers. In 50's and 60's their movies were great, because such a performance is demanded by the legendary directors. That was the golden age of Telugu cinema. Quality of these movies is further enhanced by the voices of Ghantasala and Susila, singing the great lyrics of Samudrala and others composed by once again great music directors (who actually know music). While both NTR and ANR them possess natural talent, clearly their inclination was not towards enhancing their repertoire, instead they chose junk acting. Once they realized they can make more money through worthless (commercial) movies (chasing young lades half-of-their age as a hero), which are made for low-class mob (in 70's and 80's), they lost all the aura that they used to have, which they deserved due to their performances in the earlier years. Great actors would choose to improve their range, look for roles that have depth and variety, instead of choosing these cheap 'hero' roles. Sorry to say that I do not admire either of them, because they were the stepping stones for the degradation of the Telugu cinema and Telugu culture.
