Terrific little piece. He has a strong musical personality. I find it interesting how little Japanese classical music I actually know after having been in the music business for 60 years. Hey, I learn something every day!

If you like Miyoshi's works, I'd highly recommend you to listen to his 'Requiem'. kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZWh4ta9-n9vbnqw.html Just listen to the end with headphones. It's a shame, no good recording is found on the net as far as I know.
Wonderfully orchestrated, beautiful, fantastic piece. First played it on radio over 30 years ago. Three movements. Thanks for posting!

Is this the complete piece or only the First Movement? According to the notes above, it appears to be only the First Movement.

Click SHOW MORE for all three movements. Movt. I ends at 1:42, Movt. II ends at 6:00. Best piece of 12-tone music ever IMHO, but it's not atonal.
