I was most impressed from his quote when he was a kid. He scored 9 goals in 5 games or something, but in the interview after he said he wasn't satisfied because he wanted to win the tournament with his teammates but they got 3rd. Top mentality to have especially for a kid

I absolutely despise City but we need fatter lines on the offside calls. There is literally no advantage to be had by a toenail being ahead of play. It wasn’t why the rule was made and the current interpretation is ridiculous. I’m also glad to see the keeper not being protected for the winner. That’s another thing that gets me..

I wouldn't say goal keepers won't be protected. It's only because a spurs goalkeeper against city that it wasn't. You'll still find in a fair chunk of situations that's gonna be a foul.

No, because than you introduce ambiguity and ref again has so much power in deciding what is offside and what is not. Decision is than subjective and VAR becomes unnecessary. The way it's right now is clear and objective when you are not offside.

I don't support Spurs. But that goal decision was ridiculous. It is also happening time and time again - the goalkeeper is obstructed and impeded from being able to access the path of the ball for a save. I mean I just don't get how these decisions keep getting made.

It happens man he has dragged it bit but I think he should have chosen the opposite side of goal GK was covering the near post. I think if he has chosen left side there was more space since Vicario had to cover more and with shot power KDB had he would have easily curled that in.

@@angelkilier in the PL they don’t use the var technology used in Qatar for the World Cup. For inexplicable reasons all 20 teams deemed this unnecessary . It was “ discussed” a few months back all teams said there was no need to discuss that ( but once things go not their way , they all complain ) That means a technician must stop the imagine manually at the moment the ball leaves the foot of the player . A few inches are hard to catch from certain angles ( the Qatar technology uses more cameras ).

You can also see it without the lines, because Bobb’s foot is closer to the goal kick line comparing to the defender’s body ;)

Don't understand why Ake's goal stood. Vicario was bodied to the ground by the city player who obstructed play. City obviously deserved the victory, but the officiating once again has shown to be inconsistent.

Madders came back after a long injury , and was on only for 20 mins. He ain't de bruyne to come back on and to immediately give an impact. Still he's top class..

Vicario was too weak in that situation. That along with his constant short ball passes and increasing the risk of a Man City goal really didn’t impress at all!

The bias shown throughout the match by the ref was amazing, to be expected with moneybags but didn't give spurs a thing all game, 100% foul on vicario for goal, if that's city, man United or Liverpool it gets ruled out immediately 😮

Poor decision

Only losing 1-0 to City is an incredible achievement for this Spurs team. Spurs are one of the worst teams in Europe and still almost drew to CIty. Their fans should be celebrating this result, not complaining.

City completely outplayed us but to win with a goal like that is a joke. It’s a foul, it clearly states in the rules that you cannot make contact or impede a goalkeeper when he attempts to collect the ball. Diaz pushed him then leaned back into him preventing Vicario from catching the ball. It’s a foul and this FA is an absolute disgrace. I hope they actually punish City and Chelsea for blatant financial misconduct and cheating otherwise we might as well watch non league if this is all bent. TTID🔥🔥
