That's why I like to try and share as much as I can! I was so nervous my first few because I had no idea what to expect and there wasn't much info out there. I'm planning on filming a whole AKC Novice breakdown eventually! Haha

@@TheButlerK9s that would be great! Most videos I see the dogs are searching right away! So I’m glad to see that realistically, they may need a little coaxing.

Great job and congratulations! I'm also guilty of not recording runs. I have a neck mount for the GoPro and used it a couple of times. I'm curious how you orient the camera on the chest mount. I have to tilt it down to get my dog in the frame. I also started off with a sit or a down as an indication but after trialing this summer I am starting to reward more at the source to try to get more of a freeze or a clear indication before a sit as well.

Thank you!! I set it for super wide lens view (not sure the exact name haha but basically the widest option) and then tilted it down until I thought it would work. I think I should have tilted it up a bit more but overall Novice runs are not big search areas so she couldn't get out in front of me much.
